It's an honor to have you reply to this sir. I think comp is awesome, prolly the most advanced class out there along with Pro Stock. I have followed you and Bill Maropolus (sorry for the spelling) for years...awesome class. A/D, A/ED, B/ED C/ED have all intrigued me...especially the high winding small motors in C/ED. Thanks again for the reply. Gil

Yes it was, from the time that I put some "real" power in, it was a handful. I had a 338 inch pontiac for a trainer and it was a puppy dog compared to the chevy. I also ran as small of an engine as I could to get it all of the way to minimum weight. That after all was the name of the game in B/ED, light, light, light!!

Wasn't Jeff Krug, the driver in the other lane, killed somewhere out in California? I know he had an awful crash where he hit the scoreboard during a divisional race. But I don't remember which track.
