An all-new MacPherson strut front suspension gives the 2013 Accord an
exceptionally smooth and quiet ride, stable and responsive handling and
flatter cornering. The hydraulic struts are specially tuned for an
optimized blend of comfort and handling. Innovative features include new
hydraulic valves and seals, low-friction Teflon® internal bushings, new oil
specifications and special rebound damper springs (also included in the
rear shocks) that dramatically reduce body roll while turning.
Is the black cover Plastic? :'( I thought Honda would never go that route
like everyone else did. I know not everyone looks at the engine, but real
enthusiast would like to show it off. Not some plastic cover up. At least
it looks like what it is and theres not a big V6 styled cover on it. I
still think the 2002-2008 Honda/Acura K24 and K20's had the best looking
engine design/style. So clean, so compact and tidy. Really beautiful. It
wore the red i-VTCE badging so well.
Remember when the Honda F1 cars were liveried in earth dreams branding.
Wonder what took so long to implement the tech. Did you get any info on
weight savings compared to last gen accord? I know it's smaller, is it
lighter and more aerodynamic?
Looks so weird without an intake manifold. I thought these were gonna be
brand new engines? Sucks that Honda done away with the double wishbone
suspension, it was a part that seperated itself from other run-of-the-mill
sedans
The top cover comes right off very easily. It does protect the top of the
motor from moisture giving a beautiful of underneath now and for the next
10 years or more. Thanks for watching!
