well thats hard one now ps3 now 299 xbox 200 but i haft to say ps3 they dont break easy like xbox or crash or get over heating but ps3 gets somthing forgot wat caled but its broken forever it get about ever 6 years xbox breaks ever 10month-3years dpending on how u treat it my xbox broke after 2months of hardcore play but ps3 still have form 3 years and still fine and playing that thing none stop jsut look like htis xbox gears of war ps3 kill zone series

I live in philadelphia we have free wireless internets over the all city =D Anyways everyone should get a router..usually the wep key is on either the back of the packaging/router itself or on the paper that comes with it.

usually it the password the company give you on the router or the password you set up go on your network setting and set up a password or if not call your internet company and they should know your router pass

yeah it's usually on the bottom, there is an address on there you get your code from there but I set my own code I don't think I ever used a code from the router

U do realize u don't have to hide ur web key right nobody can use it unless they are in ur house it jst to sign into ur wifi so it doesn't matter who sees it

Dudes i fucked also i bought a router just for my ps3 but i used a ethernet cable for it then my niece stayed over and wanted to use her mobile devices so she turned on the wifi herself and then left so when i moved a year later and no longer wanted to use the ethernet cable and take my ps3 wifi i discoverd she had made a wep key i called her but she forgot it DAMMIT!! LOL O_O. so my question is can i reset the router wep key by pressing little reset button or just make a second one?

@techdotnet Hey, I don't know anything about technology this stuff, so can you help? I have a belkin and the setup thing has changed a little since then. We had someone from the cable company set it up for us last time, and I could use the Wireless for my xbox without a problem, but then my mom's friend messed with it, and now my xbox wont connect no matter what I do. Do you know what might be wrong? I don't want to mess with settings because I could make things worse.

Somebody please help me !!! I was trying to set up a passcode using WEP 64-bit and in the "passphrase" box I put in the "password" then clicked generate but I thought the passphrase would be my password but I was wrong !!! The hex keys were my password but I didn't know so now I can't connect to my own internet . Can somebody please helpp me ?

nope, it´s the Router´s Setup Screen. You can go to it after connecting a ¨Cat 5 cord¨ from Port 1 of your Router to your PC or Laptop, you just open a Internet Explorer page & follow the instructions in the video, I'll make a vid on how to set up the cord from Router to PC or Laptop later on, Good Luck!! @lilvicentegro Hi there, sorry for the late answer. You can use any of the three options, as long as you set security, however, 128 bit and WPA ARE stronger than 64 bit, but they also make your connection speed slower, I personally recommend 64 bit, hope this info helps you. Good luck!!

+SurgeX798 Virgin Media have recently been updating and modifying things. I haven't yet had a look or talked to them. I do suggest calling and asking to speak with a tech professional if at all possible on your end, don't just chat to the person who answers the phone they usually don't know anything.

No options at all for WEP on the latest Superhub. Strange because many internet sources say the 3DS has WPA compatibility, but that's simply not the case on the device.

WEP isn't an option on my Super Hub 2. It worked okay on my original Super Hub. I may investigate this further, but I'm not sure it matters since most DS and Wii servers were taken offline.

Come faccio a sapere l'IP del computer perché quando metto le impostazioni e tutto 192.168.1.115 e il resto quando vado su internet mi dice che il server proxy non esiste

l'ip del computer lo puoi assegnare tu... il tuo ISP (la fastweb) ti fornisce un indirizzo ip dinamico, ovvero che cambia dopo un po'. quindi non puoi sapere con precisione qual'è il tuo indirizzo ip, mentre assegnando un ip statico è possibile saperlo...
