This doesn't make me want to use your products at all. Well, to be honest I
don't have a single Kraft product in my kitchen, and this video makes me
happy about that.
Thanks, sorry I could not provide any additional ideas for you. I would not
expect you and your family to call it Shepherd's Pie because usually in
England they are very strict about the distinction between Cottage Pie and
Shepherd's Pie. They usually get onto Americans for using Shepherd's Pie to
refer to all of these types of casseroles.
My aunt does the two layers of Mashed Potatoes and I always liked it
layered like that. I usually actually try to make it with an equal amount
of mashed potatoes on top and bottom, but this was my first time working
with the steam and mash and there wasn't as much potatoes as I thought
there was.
not trying to be insulting, but this is a terrible 'cottage pie' Cook the
vegetables in with the mince, along with onion and garlic, and fry off some
red wine. Put the potato on top only, else it just turns into a slurry.
None of this is difficult and you'll end up with a much better dish.
I just realized I made a mistake when explaining the origin of the Cottage
pie/ Shepherd's pie... it was not necessarily Shepherds that came up with
it... but it was a way to use leftovers when it was first made.
I just don't use onions in mine... and hey you can videotape yourself... I
mean I certainly don't do the greatest job on my videos, but hey they get
the job done.
