All these model X videos are kind of like yesterday news in terms of
features. All of it has been around for years. I would be expecting matrix
type of led headlights for the price of model X not a simple LED headlight
with auto hight beam just like you can get in hyundais these days.
+mastadriver the companies that currently develop the matrix systems are under contract with specific automakers so it's not as simple as tesla just 'doing it' short of designing their own matrix headlights in-house or contracting a brand new supplier to work on their behalf. It's all a large investment for an aspect of the car that can quite frankly wait while more pressing issues - such as cutting down the costs of the cars overall to make them more accessible - takes precedence until EVs become more mainstream
+Guybrush Threepwood Nope. You can have them auto-dip. My Vauxhall has the same control (not LED) - leave them on full beam - as soon as it sees someone coming the other way - dipped.
+colla 555 It seems like the automatic mode mentioned on Teslas website about Model X only applies to the cornering lights that Model S has as well. I haven't seen any turning lights for high beam like I had on my BMW E61.
+Adrian Jektvik Da jeg testet så svingte de ikke. Det enest jeg har sett er ekstra kurvelys som slås på i nærlys-modus slik som på Model S. Det er muligens denne de refererer til på Model X også dessverre.
Keep in mind that you probably only have the 2000 Lumen version back home
and not the 3000 Lumen as they have in the US. Tesla limited the light in
the EU version of the Model S to not be required to have a high pressure
headlights washer system.
