The wires do plug right into the harness. that part is easy. I am a mechanic by trade. Disassembling   of the rear portion of the bike is a little time consuming. Go slow, be careful. I did not connect the turn signals. I know they plug right in ,too. More disassembling is required. No big deal. The reason I did not connect the turn signals is because I want maximum visibility of all my lights. Front and rear. Personal preference. I changed my front marker lights, too.
