I usually run a high crit build and try to match my attacks against moments of enemy weakness. I'm just not that good at it. A fast running ship spamming transphasics with a DBB for a killer overload sounds like it could have potential. One of my early Fed PVP videos I'm actually using an escort with a phaser/transphasics build. Good times. Never killed anyone very fast, but that may be more of a reflection on me than of the build itself.

I just tried it out, and it worked pretty well. just two in the front, two in the back, the breen cluster transphasic in the front, and a tetryon dual beam array fore and a tetryon beam array aft.

+Snoopydogg Race with your friends and ask them for help and if you have to you can host the races and be the only one in them. It's kind of a jenky way to do things but it'll guarantee you win the race thus getting the XP and unlocking parts, lets you take you your time in the non custom vehicles to learn each track, and you get to see what vehicle is the best in each class. That's what I did when I finally got my xbox 1 a few weeks ago.
