Do you separate 1/2 of the layer cake to make the 1/2 square triangles and 1\2 to make 4patches? How many blocks does it make? How big is the finished block? Thanks for sharing this!

great u tube Pat. I still make my 4 patches the way you taught us when you came here to Georgia and I hosted you. And even still use that little piece of fabric to keep the ruler from sliding.I like the different colorways you showed for this quilt. Each give the quilt a different look which is nice to see.I'd love to see a u tube on the Texas Two Step quilt in your" Amazing Nickel Quilt Book". Joan
