Well I've only been riding for a about a year so the fastest I'm comfortable going is just under 40, so you're probably right about going faster, but they should have a better feel at the speeds I go too, IMO. I don't like the way risers feel so I just leave Muirskate's little shock pad in and that's it. I've never tried blood orange bushings before either. Regardless, I just don't like Caliber IIs and I'm trying to sell mine.
+LemonatorHD also venom bushings are great (I use them to) but the blood orange bushings that the come with or all duros in general, are way more snappy and have more return to centre the venom I find.
+Sol Schitea if you ride the 44 and you think they feel dead it's probably because your not going fast enough.. And if you get wheel bite it's probably because the 44 have a lower ride hight, you should just ride smaller wheels or use a riser.
And I know a lot of amazing riders make it work with Cals, but keep in mind pros can ride pretty much anything. They can make the kookiest setup look great.
I got the 44s when I bought my G Mack and they felt completely dead, even after I tried multiple combos of Venom bushings. I ride Gullwing Reverses now because they have a slightly higher ride height (I used to get lots of wheelbite with 70mm wheels) and they're super divey and gooey
+Sol Schitea well caliber make a 44 deg baseplate and a 50 deg baseplate, the 44 are more responsive at speed were as the 50 deg ones are better for carving and sliding at slower speeds.
It's actually a lot of personal preference, a lot of great riders I know ride calibers. Personally I love calibers but I'm more of a fan of bear trucks.
Exploration Series: Spiced Rum, Blind Tasting
People continue to ask what our favorite spiced rum happens to be and they want to know what they should buy at the store. We can give them our favorite ...
This blind taste testing confirmed my long held thoughts...Tatto, Cruzin,
and Oakheart. Oh sure there are surely other rums of differing kinds out
there, but for spiced and readily available rums these are my go to
spirits.
My personal favorite is Sailor Jerry, but I also really like that Limited
Edition. Others you should consider trying are Zaya, Pyrat, Kilo Kai, and
Dos Maderas. Good video guys!
+Common Man Cocktails Looks like it's Kraken! I'm trying to replicate something a buddy makes for ice fishing trips and that stuff is dangerous! Delicious but dangerous! You should give it a try sometime, it could be a little tricky to do for the show since it's supposed to spend a week soaking in cinnamon sticks but it'd be a cool change of pace!
