None of which directly placed the blame on Bush, though he is as responsible for the recession as every other politician in the legislature is. Let's not forget that he and the legislature wasted our surplus and plunged this country back into debt, more than any president previous to him had ever done.Drilling for oil in the states is 1) irresponsible because it only prolongs our dependence on oil and 2) irresponsible because it creates ecological problems and, potentially, disasters.Yes, people who were foolish enough to buy a house outside of their means have responsibility to shoulder for the housing crisis; however, the banking industry is at greater fault and the government even more so for not regulating them.I would also suggest that you not read more into what is said. You come across as foolish when make assumptions about what people believe and think when nothing in their post reflects that. For instance, you claim believing in Obama is pure ignorance when nothing in my post mentions him, nor does it mention Bush, nor any other politician.Plus, remarks like this  "Stop talking out your -, and research this stuff." are childish and have no place in an intelligent conversation. Bush did it? Well someone must watch MSNBC, Bush is not at fault for the recession.  What, pray tell, did George W. Bush do to cause that recession? His signature economic legislation, including the Bush tax cuts, was passed in 2001. More tax cuts were passed in 2003. How did either of these laws cause a recession which began in 2007?The fact is this: a bunch of banks made stupid real estate loans. The real estate market crashed, and everything went sour. George W. Bush had nothing to do with it.

The GOP giving money to corporations? the GOP? Did you not see what Obama did his first 2 years of his Presidency with a full Liberal control congress?  He gave 2.1 trillion dollars to the bankers and then he gave more money to GM!  The whole 12 years of war didn't even hit 1 Trillion. Learn your facts and stop believing everything you read on MSNBC and the huffington post.  BTW I am not a republican.
