Believe me man, I have those days were I long for movies like those. But those films were intended to be that way. I honestly don't think that Proyas wanted this to be nothing more than a forgettable popcorn flick.

+Timothy Veckranges Well, I guess, I just sometimes like movies that I can sit back and watch the anarchy and chaos unfold.But you're right, this could've been the first original franchise in a long while. Proyas is a good director, but this certainly was a misfire. He's done The Crow and Dark City. Those are two good movies of his.
