+MrELKICKER   You just add a fuse in the line.  They have them at any auto parts store.  I would go with a 15 amp.

just bought an '06 CVPI and was wondering how to rewire the spotlight. They snipped the spotlight wire in half by the handle and when i reconnected it, it didnt work still. Cant find a wire coming out under the hood near it either. Am I just not looking hard enough for the hidden wire or could they have ripped it all out?

that is pretty much a standard electrical connector thing. I don't really know what its called. I'd say check with Unity or pretty much any hardware store.

Unscrew the bolt on the handle and remove the handle. Then if there is one on your model of spotlight, unscrew the bolt on the outside part of the spotlight. Then pull from the head of the light towards the outside of the vehicle. Once the light is removed, the bracket will still remain. Unscrew the plates on the inside and outside of the vehicle with a basic Phillips head driver and pull out the brackets. It's very simple.

@bluebloodp71 there is a hold down screw/nut on the hand end, loosen that and carefully slip the handle off, then you have a hold down on the "A" pillar in the car, remove that and you can carefully slip the spot light from the light end, do NOT forget your brackets, BUT, adammark2009 is right, why would you WANT to remove it.

can you post a video on how to mount the spotlight to the vehicle? all you gotta do is un mount the spotlight and then go through the step by step process on installing it. Could you please do that?

Help!! Just bought a 2009 Tahoe Police package. Neither the spotlight nor the drivers side low-beam work, coincidence? Or same circuit? Bulbs are fine. The fuse for low beams lft side is good, swapped the relays as well and that's not the problem. Any ideas on how to get both working?

Got a 2007 crown vic interceptor. Love the car but I need to take off taht annoying spotlight. Is there anything specific that you can plug the holes with after you remove it? I did see where those spotlights are going for $110 on ebay.

The wire goes to a fused 12volt supply from the fuse panel .12volt + (a wire from the positive side of the battery)
