+PolakFuryYou just made the same point that Mayor De Blasio and many of the protesters are making - police make mistakes based on stress and lack of training. These protests have escalated because most people do not want to even acknowledge that many people officers are on the job with poor training. Accountability for both the police and the citizens would go a long way to defuse the situation. But when the scales of justice are obviously tilted to favor the police, it was only a matter of time before such protests would start.

Police make mistakes based on stress or lack of training and  proper training would keep such scenarios from happening again. As well with reference to open carry it does not mean pointing out guns at others. It means having the weapon out in the open secured on ones side and back. Thats why the officers perceived as that one individual pointing a real gun as they retrieved that info from a caller misguiding them.Add to that asthma is hard to diagnose on the spot for people and Cops are not Doctors. People say I cant breath all the time but resisting arrest is still a crime. Its a shame a person with that condition put themselves in such a position in the first place.Not being a troll here.

Regardless of Brown's past, and whether or not you believe he actually attacked Off. Wilson (his medical report showed no signs of injury), he could have simply been arrested for assaulting a police officer. He did not need to be murdered in broad daylight. Murder is not "justice".

Now those are songs of "epic proportions".

You're complaining about protesters being "violent" doing a peaceful protest while having an avatar of one person shooting another person? Irony there much?

And Conservatives are standing up to shout in solidarity with the police (the Government) against protesters (the People).  Amazing how that authoritarian gene is always just underneath the surface for the "Libertarian" Right when it is convenient.
