A tutorial on how I define my kinky curly natural hair. The process takes me about 20 minutes but drying of course takes much longer. Leave your questions ...
1) Jheeez your hair is beauts! 2)Also are you Ghanaian? Your logo has the
adinkra symbol in it, but I haven't seen any of your other videos.
3) where, how, with what did you dye the ends of your hair? and when did
you decide to "take the risk" so to speak? (scusi if you already made a
video on that)
+Laila Jean Yu yeah 4c hair is a struggle. I've been natural for 5 years now it grew the first two years but now its been at the same length for almost 3 years. and all of the great styles on youtube never look as great on 4c hair
I absolutely love the faux locs look and wasn't sure I could pull if off but glad I gave it a try. I reduce the bulk by not wrapping before hand so its less heavy.
Great Tutorial. My braider did them the same way! Did you keep them in over
a month and if so were you nervous that your own hair might loc up. This is
my concern.
thanks. This was my 2nd time doing them and there are a few things I'll do different next time. I had intended to keep them 3weeks (my scalp never lets me keep anything past 1 month) but only managed 2weeks and 2days:( because I neglected my scalp and it started itching bad. I didn't wash them during that time. I did have some slipping with a couple and simply redid them - for future reference when starting the loc (when i first fold the marley hair) I'll wrap a little further down before attaching the second strand of hair to prevent that slipping. It'll anchor it better
Update:Sis, I did try African Threading my hair & it was a bit challenging
(my very first time). I wasn't able to push up my individuals, so I used it
as an elongation method instead. I will be attempting it again soon. I
don't think I'm ready to try this one, but you got great results as usual.
; D
Awww Asien - thanks for the feedback but remember if at first you don't succeed dust off and try again girl. If you couldn't push it up it means you wrapped too tight

+solene malouda kizomba ? i don't know most of my instrumental ( backgroud) music was just given to me, i don't know the name of the song related to that beat. Sorry i was no help.
Sorry that's out of my control... because the background music wasn't mine. YouTube flag it for copyright, so I only have limited access to certain mobile device but you can watch on a computer.
+heavenzbest1 Hey not sure if you are new to wigs but you don't wash synthetic wigs when you first get them. I think some people choose to wash human hair units out of the package for their own styling preferences.
