Patrick ryan said he drifted the sight of his glock 17 when taking black badge course. Is it necessary to do because i have the same exact issue like him. Small hands+glock 17.

+Eddie .308 It depends on where you are. I would suggest just googling IPSC and the province or state you are in. For example IPSC Alberta.

Glad I came across your page as other pages are of HIGH ENDER Shooters and way out our league for shooting, yours is direct to the point clear and a great help. My Teen boys and I are starting our Black Badge course this weekend Dec 13/14 2014 in Dartmouth Nova Scotia, We shoot out of the new Gun Club in Truro Nova Scotia (Nova Scotia Indoor Gun Club) Hunt Outdoors store. I have two Glock 17 Gen 4 we are using, and found our issue for my shooting left but for now drifted the sights to compensate until after the course (LOL) I have a small hand / short fingers so a Glock 17 even without straps my finger just touches the trigger, need a Small Frame handgun, so after we complete this aspect will look for a Production one that is really good fit. My Teen Boys their hands are huge and their 6 foot guys so they are using tip of finger , get LONG fingers so pushing to left , Need put back straps on to get it filled out and give them the extra size to help. Hello when you drifted the sight on your g17 did it helped a lot overcoming the shooting left issue? I have the same problem. G17 doesnt fit my hand

Thanks very much for your support. I am sure you and your boys will have a great time at your Black Badge Course! In regards to needed a smaller grip, perhaps try the M&P 9mm at your local gun store and see how it fits. My wife has one and it is a highly reliable and smooth shooter also.

Thanks for recording this. I bought a ticket for Eugene, OR but I swear that I thought it was the second Sunday in March, not today! Then I was caught up in watching academy award movies. I hope he does another tour, but has it in Portland next time because I was heartbroken when I missed his show.
