There IS an RV park in North Highlands...It's kind of hidden, though. It's where Madison Ave meets Watt Ave. If you round the slight turn to the left, just before the road curves to the right, look over to the left. You will see a very small office, a pool and a black iron gate. I believe the name is McClellan Mobile and RV Park. I've had my RV in there numerous times.

Wow Russ I always wondered what happen to McClellan AFB. I was station there 1970 ,71 and went to Vietnam, came back in 73 stayed for 6 months and shipped out to Thailand. worked on the EC121 Super Connies. loved those planes. Thanks for the memories.

+RVerTV Wow, I was stationed there from 1986 to 1990. I visited the base last summer. The dormitories I lived in are still standing but empty now.

Last time I was in Sacto, my partner and I had a van/trailer setup and camped on the Sac river for a couple of months ... back in the late 70's, lol. It sure has changed!!

I'm some worth interested in the RV parks protocol if any of the Gators from the pond do find their way into your RV. Am always skittish or Floridian creepy crawlers due to numerous stories of various animals camping on people's automobile and crevices of homes.
