In Germany we nurse our vintage lorries as well, but there are only a
handful of reunions, to sad! Not to mention runs as you use to do them.
I tried several times to participate at the "GDSF", but unfortunately my
lorry and I were
never accepted. Perhaps bonneted tip lorries aren't that welcome?

+Carl Napp Thank you for the comments. This weekend 02-08-2015 is the Trans Pennine Rd Run to which we will be attending with the QL Bedford Fire engine and the F88 Volvo. DVD should be ready to put on U tube in September. We are going to the GDSF at the end of this month with the F88 which will also be on U tube end of Sept/Oct. Please keep trying to get into GDSF with your lorry as they do welcome visitors from the continent, There are usually 10 to 20 foreign units there every year so you never know, KEEP TRYING.
