you just saved me $60 dollars my friend. Don't get me wrong, I love the
store that sells parts in the states but I know for a fact when SFV
releases I will forget to reset my stick and timeout mid-match. Will most
likely take that $60 and invest in a PS4 stick.
Just do the snake eyez method
Select + HK
Home button and sign back in
Pressing start and select is a bit of nuisance since you get screenshoots
everytime

+clive mgcina Yeah brother, we all have to grind it out again but that's the fun part. I really trust that this will be a solid experience. I so bad want it to be. Be sure to add me so that we can test some games.
thanks King. I thought ill still have my 7000 bp. damn so it means I gotta hustle again. will there be lag as we struggle with lag on psn. especially for some of us who r not from the US. but im golad they decided to bring it on ps4. I thought it was going to be ultra but its cool.
yeah thats good news, specially for people who had trouble finding a stick
that was not being sent from hon kong which made the price crazy LOL. when
you get a chance check out my custom te2 stick on my channel and let me
know what you think man !
you could try narrative based games such as The Last of Us which has excellent story development & a good amount of action gameplay that isn't too overbearing to interject commentary over. to hear your thoughts/opinions on that game would be highly entertaining i'm sure :D
+solzan2000 Exactly the type of vibe that I'm on. That stick that you purchased can very well be perfect for when V come out if you need new hardware by that time. Thanks for watching.

Adding Sanwa parts to a Venom PS4/PS3 Arcade Stick
This is as easy as pie. Watch me screw up a bit. I hope this is of use to people who want a cheap-but-awesome Sanwa-parts PS4 stick for Street Fighter V, Guilty ...
hey ive followed everything you said in the video but for some reason it
doesn't work. all I can use is the up motion on the stick and no other
inputs work. can you suggest what I can do to fix this.
+Maxxiimo1 It could be a duff joystick harness, but try flipping it over on the side connected to the stick. I've had your exact problem before several times and it was always due to the harness being upside down.
hi, ive just bought a VENOM arcade stick ps3/ps4 off amazon for 70quid,
would you be able to tell me where i can order new buttons and a octogan
gate stick from and also where i can get a ryu cover from, the reason i ask
is because the stick i have it a square gat and it is hard to pull off
fireballs/upercut motionsin Street fighter thanks.
+Huw Dawson right sorry if I'm bothering you or anything.but I'm not sure about that JLF-TP-8YT joystickit says that joystick is a square gate 8 way and can be switched to a 4 way would u be able to fell me the diffrence. because I just want to get a joystick good for STREET FIGHTER cuz its a bit annoying trying to pull off fireball/ super motions on the joystick that comes with the venom stickthanks
Can't help with art - they are usually custom made and printed, then cut out. Not too hard to do tbh, ask around the UK FGC page on Facebook. For octo-gates, check ArcadeWorldUK, Arcadeshop.de or ask on the UKFGC Facebook page. :)
+JAG1080p Some place like this: //www.arcadeworlduk.com/products/jst-xh-female-to-female-connector-cable.html - You can also find them on eBay or other specialist arcade stockists.
Bit of a weird question, but is the control panel (the top-left part of the
top of the stick with all the minor buttons and switches) removable from
the main plastic body? Considering cannibalising this stick to bring PS4
life to an old Sega HSS-0130.
I don't think the buttons are removable but the PCB for them is.
PS1 Namco Arcade Stick On PS4
The greatest arcade stick ever assembled used on PS4 with no internal modifications. Oooosh. Necessary gear: Namco PS1 Arcade Stick, Mayflash Universal ...
I want this stick as I need a stick to play my ps2 fighters. Question
though are the buttons easy to change? Where can I get one? What is a
reasonable price to pay in 2015. Also does this stick feel pretty nice?
+Brawlers Up Tv This stick is possibly the best I've ever used. The buttons are excellent as they are and I wouldn't recommend swapping them out, but there are plenty of sites explaining how to do so. I got mine for about £15 on a forum. //forums.shoryuken.com/discussion/65164/namco-stick-appreciation
I want to use this for ps3 can I use it with this ps2 to ps3 adapter or not
?

+Das Muel thanks this works better with no reset but it also means that I have to use my laptop all the time but that's ok :) but how come you don't have the reset or do you have it to ?
+Das Muel it works much better now , but apparently it resets / reconnect every 10-20 minutes but that reset took just 1 or 2 seconds. I just have to deal with it got no choice, but thanks for all the help :)
+Kakashi X Leonhart Plug in the CronusMax to the PS4 usb. Turn the PS4 on. The Cronus should show a swirly green pattern. Plug the Maflash (only the Mayflash) into the Cronus. The Mayflash should flash red. Plug in the arcade stick. You should get a '0' on the Cronusmax indicating which mode it's set to. I think mine worked without any firmware fiddling, but it's several months ago now and I don't remember exactly. I don't use it with PS4 often because there are hardly any good arcade style games out for it. However, I'm using mine right now and it works fine.
+Das Muel yes I have Cronusmax+ I conected it on my laptop tried both sides but I did not get a map so I now know that I need the firmware or software files for it , the guy who sold it to me said it has the latest update , so lets say I already have the latest update then it should work right away right ? or do you/I need to ad each controller script on my own , what does the small button do ?
+Kakashi X Leonhart Right. Presumably you've bought a Cronusmax+ then? It won't work on PS4 without one. If so you'll have to load the firmware onto your PC and configure it there. I didn't have any real trouble doing it but it was several months ago now.
+Das Muel I know that for the ps3 the problem I have is with the ps4 the ps3 stuff works great , do I need to do something with cronusmax + ? after like 10 minutes the namco controller stops working on the ps4
+Kakashi X Leonhart No. Leave the dipswitches on the back all set to off. It's very straightforward: Plug the Mayflash into the USB port on your PS3. A red light should flash on the Mayflash. Plug your arcade stick into the Mayflash. The light should stop flashing. The stick will now work.
+Das Muel do I need to put in a code in the usb for to get it to work ? I bought it from someone he said he added the latest update & the stick is brand new , do I need to turn on 1 of the switches on the back on A or B ?
+Kakashi X Leonhart Leave the extension cable out of the chain. Just go Arcade Stick - Mayflash - PS3. Try restarting the PS3 and going through it step by step. It does work. As far as I'm aware, it won't work with PS4 without the CronusMax+. The PS4 does not support HID USB devices.
+Das Muel I used an ps2 extension cable to connect it to mayflash is that to much cables ? I also used the extention cable with the ps3 & that worked fine
+Kakashi X Leonhart I should imagine so, but you'd have to try it for yourself as I have no experience with that particular model. The Mayflash adapter I've referred to here definitely does work with PS3, and you wouldn't have to buy a Cronusmax+ as PS3 is fully HID USB compatible, unlike the PS4. You might have to re-map some buttons in-game, but this is no biggie.
Is this a good beginner stick? I don't want to pay £175 for a madcatz yet
as I'm not even sure if I'll like it. BTW I found it on amazon for around
£75.
+Donzzzzification OK, well tbh its all personal preference.I figured I might buy it soon because its cheap and to see if its good cuz its better than paying £180-£300 for something you don't know anything about init.on BTW if u search this stick on eBay.co.UK it comes up already modded with a street fighter 5 art design and new upgraded buttons and joystick.
+khalz Nah I didn't buy it because a lot of people told me that I'd have to mod it and as a stick newbie it'll be better to go for something that will last long. I might buy a hori instead because its cheaper than the madcatz but better quality than the venom apparently.
Amazing value for the price, got mine a couple months ago and it does it's
job. What I would argue is that, as a new player myself, the actual
joystick is just fine, but the buttons are complete trash, and even if you
are a newbie, if you can, get some new ones. Unlike the joystick, they are
not soldered into the PCB, it's just plug and play, so they are really easy
to use. I plan on eventually try and get an Hayabusa joystick and some
sanwa buttons to mod it , and slap some sick JoJo art on it. Great review!
+As One you are correct, with a 5 pin female to female jst xh cable, you can switch the joystick with no soldering required, just make sure it's a sanwa jlf or a hori hayabusa, because a seimitsu will involve lots of modding to make it fit. Unfortunately the cables are sold out on western sites, I had to order mine form Hong Kong, will take more than a month to arrive.
+Wulfsmasher AFAIK you can swap out the stick pretty easily with the correct parts too. I did feel the stick would be grand for quite a bit of play myself, and I'd agree- buttons gotta go first :)
It's kinda ignorant to say playing the stick without sanwa parts is for
casuals when luffy won evo with a ps1 controller imo. There are plenty
high-level player who play without sanwa buttons, it's more of a matter of
preference than something that will influence your execution drastically in
high level play
+Ps4gameryeah It is true that Louffy plays on a PS1 pad, however to echo Secdeal, this is a stick, not a pad and in our opinion & experience the quality of the Sanwa buttons have been proven to stand the test of time and endurance with a good feel and response. The stock buttons on this stick felt a little cheaper and in our opinion, we are not sure they would stand up to the rigours of tournament play for competitive players. We were however very impressed with the non Sanwa Stick. It was really solid and felt really good. We are not surprised that others have replaced the buttons, its not that they are terrible, its just that there are better options available that are fairly inexpensive to add so why not. This is why we suggested that the drive to do this would probably be a competitive player and that casual players might not and as such the buttons would be fine.
+Ps4gameryeah In the context of arcade sticks, non-branded joysticks can be incredibly bad. Infamous examples: the joystick in the old Mayflash sticks or the Hori Tekken stick. It was very hard to play on bad sticks.I could try my hands on this Venom stick 2 days ago, and the stick wasn't bad actually. It's a Sanwa ripoff, but ripped off well. I can't say much about the buttons, as those were already switched for Seimitsu ones.
Venom PS3/PS4 Arcade Stick (Mayflash V2) Full Overview and Innards
I go over the entire stick in this video, showing how everything is wired up, how the case itself has some really neat features and how the stock parts are ...
+UknownAssassin No clue, you'd need to ask in the Shoryuken Tech Talk forum or elsewhere. Fanta sticks are bulky and don't have the normal sized mounting holes, so they do not fit where Sanwa and Semitsu sticks do. Sorry I cannot be of more help!
might be a redundant question since it works for PS3, but does it work for
PC too? I´m new to FGs and trying to get into playin with a stick, this
fits my pricetag (150-200€ is just too much if i dont know if i like playin
with stick)
+YT Gen0 It does, but as it's not an Xbox stick it requires mapping the keys in each program rather than being auto-detected. Not a big deal.

Venom Arcade Stick PS4 PS3 Unboxing and Internal shots
Just got this Venom arcade stick, its an officially licensed arcade stick for PS3 and PS4. I also plugged it into my Windows 8 PC and it recognized it straight away, ...
Hi dude nice video I have one question can I mod this stick I want to
change the stick with Etokki stick and buttons to Sanwa ? will it be
possible with this stick ?
What Etokki stick are you talking about? The mounting plate is compatible with sanwa JLF stick and Seimtsu´s LS-55,56,58 and 60 with the ms plate, and with all the 30 mm buttons(japan style buttons).
I would definitely recommend it, the buttons and stuck feel great, and from what it looks like any sanwa buttons or stick will just fit straight in if you want to mod it.
