+perssonzyes if it the 60gb version. there was also a 20gb version that also played old ps1 and ps2 games. and also a 80gb one with model number CECHE01. (there were different versions of the 80gb one)anyways the 60gb and 20gb i said to work 99% of the ps1 and ps2 games. the 60gb one i can confirm myself. sense i own that one and are playing all my ps1 games on it.Fun info though sense i bought my ps3 american version and was wondering how to play it on a europe eletric socket....actually it dont matter sense the power output on the ps3 can manage the 240volt. these can only be seen if you open up the ps3, so the 110volt or what it says on the back of the ps3...was a bit false information. wonder why they lied about the power output.now i dont know if this is all ps3 or only with the 60gb version. But its an interesting fact.

I have the redoctane midi-usb cord and I tried having my keyboard work for a midi device for about an hour. I don't know what I did wrong and I know you don't know either haha, but do you need any specific drivers or anything to make the keyboard work?

do you need 2 chords to connect the keyboard to something....would you need the mad catz midi adapter and something to connect the keyboard to it to use it or is the midi adapter all you need if you already have a midi capable keyboard?

hey guys, can you use keyboard wirelessly with the dongle as a midi controller? does anyone know if you can download drivers? Otherwise, i guess I'll just have to use an extra long midi chord... wireless would be so much cooler! Cheers

i have the xbox keyboard but the same program as well as FL but when i plugged it on with my m-audio uno mdi cable like yours it didnt show up is it because i need to have my asio for all drivers running? please help and thank you

@DocSoCalHB I guess it really would be too good to be true if it worked as a wireless midi controller out of the box ;-) I have the Wii one here... I wonder if it could be used as a wireless game controller?

@GSBvideos gamestop is already selling the keyboard, keyboard stand and pro drums with cymbals. the game and 2 pro guitars have not been released yet but they will very soon (:

I don't know if your sound was default "delay" settings, but you should change your buffer, to around 256 because I think theres some delay by pressing the keys and the sound.

Very cool. For the really cheap price, I may pick one up really soon. I'd love to see one of someone rocking out with this as a MIDI controller like an actual keytar!

there is so much audio latency that it makes it unenjoyable. what i plan to do is get a 5 octave personal sized casio keyboard along with the midi pro adapter.

@NICOLEFM it should work with mac...try it in garageband. you don't need a driver. there's actually an app for mac called Audio MIDI Setup. try that out.

Can you control synth modules with the keyboard? I have E-mu Extreme Lead and I was thinking buying this so I could play it using the RB keytar.

@BrentonFosterMusic You cannot but I have tested it with an M-Audio MID AIR wireless MIDi transmitter and it worked fine.

@egg1111115 when i plug in it the red lights dont go on. its weird. i dont see a switch or anything to turn it on.

Do the aluminum sticks have good grip?  They look like they would be very slippery compared to the rubberized sticks.

That's exactly why I'm looking at these things to begin with. The texture is just too slick and not grippy enough and that's on top of their sort of hybrid convex-cave analogs. Massive improvement over the ds3 but still bad for me.

i dnt get the fken point of blu ray? god!! everytime theres a war between system first thing ps3 user brings up is blu ray>???? like god movies are that important on a game system? let me tell u something if i wanna watch a dam movie ill go to redbox and get a movie for like 1 dollar and put it in my dvd player wats the problem in that? i just fill like blu ray is just extra space on the ps3 but im neutral tho there both gud systems tho....

ps3 does have cross chat and u can download ps1/ps2/psp games from psn ,but is mostly down to wat games u like most ps3 exclusives or xbox 360 exclusive games.Both are great and the for xbox ur not really pay much extra for online because some games cost more for ps3 and that money is used on online for xbox. there both great systems just make sure u get the right one for the right reasons ur reasons thumps up so people can see this/

@donireish i have to say xbox 360 is BETTER ONLINE BUT your paying for it at around £40 a year, where as the PS3 is free. Each console has games specifically made for that console like halo and gears of war for the Xbox 360.... killzone, god of war, little big planet and gran tourismo for the ps3. Truth is they're both really good and you cant go wrong either way, i say go with the console that your friend have!

To all complainin about the Blu Ray argument... its important not b/c of movies which is a plus for older people who put the PS3 in the living room but also more game content. Unfortunately something they dont seem to be taking advantage of tho.

@donireish they are both good but to me ps3 doesn t have a wide variety of games as xbox xbox hhas a better online you get a free mic and its controller is more comfort ps3 has blu rai which is good but xbox is better gaming systhem

@donireish buy ps3 if you want a tough console with good features but Laggy online and terrible player features buy Xbox if you want a fair console with not as many features better/fast online and Amazing player features

Well.. It depends. Do you want online features or do you want Singleplayer? Xbox is a beast at multi player and PS3 is a beast at single player

I prefer the xbox because of the online gaming... ps3 blu ray is a nice feature but i never watch the same movie twice....
