I agree. The macbook air was a great concept. But the crappy thing about it is the lack of a drive and no firewire/multiple usb's. These things have come standard with every recent (and decent) notebook to date. Even netbooks, with their extreme primitive nature, even have those features. And the price... I don't even want to talk about that.

i understand that completely. but there are other ultraportables out there with comparable specs, size, and price that are loaded with features. take the thinkpad x300 for example. it has 3 usb ports, a dvd drive, ethernet, an ssd, and gps. check it out--> 2dokAIl5AX8 (paste this after the "watch?v=" in the url.)

a. it's very possible (and pretty easy) to load mac os x onto a pc, and if you do it right, you can do it legally. b. haah if apple made a better macbook air with better specs, you better believe they'll charge extra for it. and then the "bang for your buck" would be lessened even more

@Braden123135 haha it was a disc for my verrryyy old kodak camera from 2000. i needed a disc to break and i was going to use a blank cd-r but i decided to sacrifice one i didn't need

haha, i have a laptop like that, one of the very very old 90's IBM Thinkpads running Win95. actually it was my first laptop :) and now we have Alienware M11x and MacBook Pro instead.

But its still kinda pathetic that it only has ONE USB Port...and NOTHING ELSE!! (at least nothing useful-A miniDisplayport) While the thinkpads are FULLY LOADED!!!
