Temple Lifts got fined because one of the lifts fell into the pit, injuring 10 people. They had to pay £100000 in damages to the injured.

+ElevatorsInScotland There are a lot of news sites that are very lazy and report thing very very dumbed down to the point where they are actually lying. Just take a look at any of the mainstream papers (except the guardian), they all have cheaply reported incorrect facts on their sites. Especially the daily mail. All papers are interested in is making headlines. They don't care about being accurate. If you know lots about a subject then you can spot all the error in the article.For example bus articles. Give me a link to a news page from a cheap paper (Daily mail, the sun, etc.) about London buses and I bet you I could find at least 3 major error on the page.
