Hi guys, i have a question. Please do keep in mind, right now im totally
still had no idea about to these 2 cards and i haven't had any preference.
So here goes, so far i ask people around they says gtx 970 is better (?).
It;s because the Memory Clock on R9 390 was 6 gig and GTX was 970.
But when i ask, does VRAM matter? Because AMD had like 2 times more than
the gtx 970 which was 3.5gig.
Well im totally confused since all i saw was they both are totally
different.
So right now i was going to get one of these 2. Any suggestion which i
should buy? I mean i tried both card and they were complete shit for me,
probably since i never buy high end video card. Both of the drivers
software also gave me a headache.
Judging by FPS matter, and future for like 3 years. Does this 2 card will
still be able to run games on high or even ultra?
Also the last thing that killing me is about the brand. GTX 970 had like 15
different brand. They got msi (tiger, gaming), G1, Asus, Digital Alliance
and stuff.
DO THE BRAND MATTERS? So far i see specs wise, the clock was only different
for like 30, 25.
But the price can be in different for about 20 even until 100$.
Please, i need guidance.
Thx before,
+Amitiel doesn't really matter, I'd say get a r9 390 if your psu supports it. I am a gtx 970 user, it's an awesome card. if you want a really good brand, go with ASUS, MSI, or Gigabyte.
What I'm wondering atm, is this card be good for 2560x1440 gaming? More
specifically World of Warcraft, which is known to be more cpu intensive
than gpu intensive... 3.5GB vram is enough for 1440p?
+Dylan Bosinger (FITTESTKNIGHTZZ) I was told to go for a GTX 980 if I wanted near or at ultra settings @ 1440p for WoW (near 144hz/fps). Since I got a g-sync monitor that does 144hz... I'd like to play between 100 to 120, maybe?
Testing GTA V with 2GB VRAM (MSI GTX 670 Power edition O/C )
Just a short video testing different graphics settings on GTA V to see which settings get you the best performance/Quality . I found the best settings for 60fps on ...
+AthaLenixHD I'd hold tight the new GTX 960TI is rumored to be released soon and will have better performance and use quite a bit less power .It will also have all the features of the Maxwell architecture /Direct X 12 ..ect. The soon to be released GTX 960ti also has a higher memory bus at 192bit compared to 128bit on the standard GTX960
The 670 is still a balls to the wall card! CPU's and GPU's have not
advanced much really since the Nvidia 400 series and the AMD 5000 series.
This is more of a good thing for us PC gamers though! Thank God for
consoles! Because we can keep hardware for longer and save money! Also the
HBM cards are not much of a advancement either. Especially since GDDR5 can
already produce more than enough. HBM is only really going to help in 4K,
But honestly 4K is not worth the thousands of dollars it cost! I have used
a 4K screen and it does not really look any better than 1080p! There is
only a tiny difference! Yet people are falling for the placebo effect and
are convinced it looks much better! It's like trying to argue with
programmed zombies!
+cannaganja I own a 970 and i can max the game at 1440p at a constant 60 fps (with aa off) The 670 at the was and still is a ok card, its still able to play many of the current games today at high settings and get a good frame rate, but if your looking for higher settings and sharper resolutions then you will be going with a better card than the 670.
You should lower your Population Variety either to 30% or to 0%. It's kinda
useless, only adds more variety in how the pedestrians look and eats up so
much VRAM. Once you lower that, you will be able to max out other things
and trust me, it's worth it. I personally don't even look at the
pedestrians and at 0% they still look very different from each other.
Nice video anyway :)
+Nagato Sakai Yeah definitely. But you'll need the "horsepower" to run everything maxed out too ;)It's the best to try it for yourself, then you'll get the most accurate idea of how the game runs maxed out
yeah, every setting is good if it does not ruin the games look. I always want my games look best. And yet i have not laid hands on the game due to work but i sure will try some of your tips when the games on. But if i have a 4gb vram version i can max everything out right?
+Nagato Sakai Nothing much except a few tricks that I found out.If you're experiencing stuttering, you can try to turn Tesselation to Off and Post FX to Normal. (Especially Post FX)Also be careful of the Grass settings. Setting it to Normal will get rid of the fluffy grass foliage but it will make the game so much smoother. (and I personally think the game looks kinda more natural with grass set to Normal instead of Ultra)The last thing I can tell you is to turn everything OFF in Advanced Settings and always keep "Ignore Suggested Limits" in Graphics settings to "off" unless you went over your VRAM limit. It may cause stuttering if it's left to "on" even if you're within your VRAM capacity. That's all I can think of for now :)Have a nice day
+Russell Forbes Not really the card always stays around 67-69 degrees .I never overclocked the card as it boosts all the way to 1350mhz on its own . I think GTA V is a very well optimized PC game .Its a welcome change compare to what ubisoft and publishers are pushing out . Watchdogs was almost unplayable on the very same system
how to get final cut pro 7 with 64mb VRAM voice tutorial
This is a breif tutorial on how to get fcp7 with only 64mb vram this way all of you old macbook users can edit with the best software and not be limited.
Hey shawnstar86 MacBook2,1 running 10.6.8 - 4 GB 533Mhz DDR2 SDRAM 64MB
VRAM I downloaded 3 different torrent versions and went accurately through
all the steps. In all instances, when installing I got the message "The
installation failed. The installer encountered an error that caused the
installation to fail." Got that when it was saying there were 5 minutes to
finish installation. Help if you can, pleaseeeeee.
I had that problem too. I downloaded a .plist editor, then I copied all the
install files to a folder on my computer. This enabled me to unlock, alter
and save the minsys.plist. However, the install fails and says it cant
locate the data it needs. Soooooo, maybe this will help you...maybe it
won't. Good luck. (and if you managed to figure this out already, can you
reply with how you got it installing?)
hey thanks dude! this video helped the first time, and idk why after 2
months it said i didnt have enough vidram again but i redownloaded the
torrent and followed ur steps thanks man:] im not too sure why it happened,
but it happened right after i did a software update so im not too sure but
THANK YOU
hey this video has numerously helped me out thank you so much! the only
thing is that everytime i have a software update it always take out fcp and
tells me i need higher ram and so i always have to redownload it is there a
way to stop this?
Did you ever get this resolved, gilrentas? I am having installation failure
too. I finally got the .plist changed and now the install fails and says it
can't locate the data it needs. Anyone help!?
dude your video has saved my ass! I bought a second hand mac yesterday
looking forward to using FCP and I thought this vram issue would be the
death of me. Thanks brother. I subscribed.
best and most helpful vid im going to try this tomorrow but my issue is
after 10 mins or seeing more npcs I start lagging and eventually my
textures will go black what should I do because I have a strong feeling its
vram but I want to know if you know exactly what my issue is
+Zaric Zhakaron Thank you so much you have fix my problem I was suffering from a shortage of memory and my papyrus was to low as well now I can play my beyond photorealistic skyrim for as long as I want without any hiccups thank u man
I donno, perhaps the answer is in one of my other videos... then again perhaps not! I'll be live-streaming on this channel in about 8-10 hours, feel free to ask there, perhaps the chat will know.
If they aren't there, they are operating on default values, you can add those lines to the file. That said, my disclaimer about papyrus settings potentially causing other issues stands.
i did all but the i cant believe its not enb then decided to use icbine 3
and now skyrim doesnt even open i get this the procedure entry point
createdxgifactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library any
idea as to a fix for this i did all you said to do to install it but now it
does not work would greatly appreciate it
I must admit... I was very skeptical about this whole thing, but I followed
every step and it worked GREAT! I went from 60FPS to somewhere around
115FPS. (I was here to fix crashes not the actual FPS) This also has
reduced the amount of crashes that I get, the crashes that I still get are
mod related. Thank you so much for this video!
Yeah, this will not fix everyone's problems, and for some people this'll cause more problems than it fixes; but if everything is on the up and up this will flat out benefit your game. By the way, Enboost has already been released for Fallout 4, so it's only a matter of time until I do a video for that too, hahaha.
