@BrianDewy - hot weather sucks. At least we know the meaning of winter. Bet you've never even seen snow. And, because we have rain, our country is fertile, whereas most of yours is desert. We hardly ever get droughts, either. And we have some of the best beaches in the world. Ice cold beer is pretty disgusting, and we don't have the ridiculous restrictions on young drivers that you do. Unfortunately, the one area where Australia is definitely better is that we don't get big, saloon-based utes.

OK OK, Lets get this straight. I should know, because my dad owns this VERY car in this video. And it was bought after these load of bellends. The car is a Supercharged Vauxhall VXR8 with a WORTEC HH122 supercharger and after this video it became a "Carbon Edition" With black wheels and wortec decal down the bottom door sills. ATM its running 630 BHP, and in this video i believe it was only 550 odd because it didnt have the MAF pipe and also upgraded supercharger pulley.

vauxhall only slapped some badges on it mate, they didnt design it. Its all the same company. Holden austrailia designed it, and GM (General Motors) own & fund holden. This car is 90% Australian designed & made. Same story with the VN, VR, VS, VP etc. they are Australian designed, but the 3.8 ecotech motor that was used, was a Buick engine, and Buick is GM. You can try & flame me as much as you want, but i work for holden, so do some research before you flame me kid.

This is a HSV Clubsport R8 which was rebadged for the UK market as a vauxhall.. vxr8... this is NOT THE BATHURST EDITION.. because look at the video date.. 2007. the bathurst didnt come out until 2008, which was release By walkinshaw in australia.. then was taken to the UK.. learn ur fucking facts before you start talking shit.

@Zenkchi99 Nahh Monaro is a two door LS1 engine. VE has different every thing they changed the entire factory to build the VE model even where the engine sits in relation to the front wheels. so yeah totaly different cars. P.S I love monaro's btw from the old to the new and I only wish they did the VE as one.

Well, to be honest it wouldn't be feasible to buy a high powered car as a new driver unless you have a lot of cash to splash as insurance drives the cost up to ridiculous highs. But shit.. only one other person? That must suck if you want to go out on a road trip with friends or whatever.

@enginerebuilder1 We have walkinshaw over in the UK as well, Tom walkinshaw was British. Wortec are a UK based tuner who specialise in GM V8s (Which this car is fitted with, which is not an australian engine) The car in the video has been tuned by wortec, not by walkinshaw.

Why do people always compare the F6 to the GTS, R8 and VXR8 in this case. You cant compare a V8 to a Turbo 6. Maybe all the ford lovers should compare the GT to one of the holdens. I admit the F6 is nice, but Ford seem like a 1 car wonder from where im sitting.

Great car! these cars should be sold overseas as HSV's and Holden not Vauxhall(UK) and Pontiac(USA).....and for all you ford/FPV lovers out there "Your no match to the for Holden/HSV!"...Ford owners have to add modifications to keep up with the big LS3 engine.

if you want this car go buy the pontiac g8 gxp. the gxp is essintialy the same car as this ausssie, with a pontiac sticker thrown on. if you dont believe me do some research and look at the body of this car and you will find that they are the same.

Mad ride.....but it's Zeta 1. Walkinshaw was the racing side of the business and had naff all to do with the chassis development of the HSV chassis. So What mods has that beast had done to it and why didn't you go Walky?

@danthecoolguy umm, it is an Australian car, a Holden, and over here its Walkinshaw, which so happens to make the Holden supercharged, and one of the fastest sedans in Australia. so no walkinshaw isnt shitty.
