They do this all the time in Puerto Rico -- in fact, they REMOVED the front doors from some Flxible Metro buses they got from PalmTran in Palm Beach County, Florida. It's an almost acceptable way of dealing with bad air conditioning. The PalmTran buses had openable windows, so with the windows, doors, and roof vent/escape hatches popped, you'd get a very nice breeze!

...And I assume nobody told the driver that he forgot the door...? I've been on the BornholmerBussen trip several times, and I think they press the schedule to the limit, so I understand why some of their drivers might get stressed. Not that it allows for forgetting doors and running red lights though.

ye. it did make a lot of noise, and if you placed anything on the floor it was blowed out in 2 secs. i tried to place a candybar on the floor, and boom - it was gone.
