Box Office Sunday! (9/14- 9/16)Who won?Nemo? Resident Evil? The Possession??
Help Schmoeville get to 5000 on Facebook: //www.facebook.com/schmoesknow It's an all-new Box Office Sunday, and the Schmoes check out the week that ...
Tricia Helfer... and you know she's been in Burn Notice! And here I've been
yapping about that TV show every time I've had the slightest opportunity to
make a connection and I've never got any response back from you guys...
Maybe you are closet watchers of that show? And to be fair, you did answer
once, when I commented on your Changeling-review. About Jeffrey Donovan
getting a rather big role in a film with Angelina Jolie. But the answer was
kind of "he was in the movie?". (He was the Bad Guy)
Hey Schmoes just went and saw Finding Nemo for the first time yesterday, I
was 13 when it came out so maybe I thought I was too cool to see a movie
about fish but jeeze it was absolutely awesome, so much heart in that
movie! Just wondering what order you would put these animated movies in
favourite to least favourite Finding Nemo, Wall-E, Incredibles, Toy Story
1, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3... if ya got time
B.O. Thoughts Tonii-ee-iight! 1. I called RE5 winning last week. 2. Good to
see ParaNorman still in the top 5 after being out approx. a month now. Not
much to say about this week's B.O. after that. But things will FINALLY get
a hell of a lot more exciting next week thanks to End of Watch, Trouble
with the Curve, House at the End of the Street and *gasps heavily* the big
screen return of Dredd!
dudes i was disappointed that nemo didnt get top spot...good thing you
didnt watch resident evil, stuckmann gave it an F so it was a shitbox (and
stuckmann slightly gives higher marks than you guys)... lastly looking at
your (almost) beards, i was wondering, WHAT IF you guys grew mustaches like
tony stark (robert downey jr)... im just curious how you guys would look
like...
Couple of factors going into projected numbers. 1) They estimate what it
will make based on how other movies performed during the same time of the
year in previous years. Sometimes the type of movie factors in that will
make it go down or up. 2) There is also some shenanigans going on when
studios will fudge it by a lot to reach some goal or not to look too bad,
resident evil's box office in America doesn't matter all that much. The
only reason those movies keep getting made is cause they do massive
business overseas. Don't get me wrong I'm sure the studio wants to break
even with there US box office but even if this thing makes 20m under budget
in the states it's not a big deal because it will make 200m overseas
Resident evil 5 is actually pretty decent. Much better than the last one.
Now I have to say I LOVED first three resident evil movies and from my
perspective this movie kinda came back to the quality level of first three
movies again, which makes me very happy. The ending is intriguing, so I
actually want a sixth movie....
awfully brave of you to wear that hat after that wonderful beating on
Saturday Ellis!! Also did I hear right on a podcast that Kristian went to
FSU? If so that just made you guys even more awesome than you were before!
Fellow Nole watching here! thanks for all that you guys do...keep all the
fun vids coming!!
Hopefully End of Watch earns the top spot next week. I saw a early
screening at the Navy Base and I loved the chemistry the two lead actors
had along with the amount of light humor mixed in with the dark moments.
Probably going to pay to watch it a second time. I thought it was that
great.
schmoes i know u guys r super busy but please get to the Raid: redemption i
wil go out nd say that its up there in quality epic action along wit DKR nd
the avengers please do it soon fuck resident evil, we all know its shit and
jeremy jahns already called it its shit please do the Raid
I call bullshit on two things but I'm sure Schmoes Know already knows. One
bullshit was Expendables 2 NOT getting #5 because I picked that and Second
bullshit was Finding Nemo NOT getting #1, otherwise... I would've been
right. Box Office Sunday is trying to mess with my mind ?::D haha
I wish Finding Nemo was #1, but #2 is still good. Plus it made TONS of
money back when it was originally released in 2003, both in theaters and
later on DVD (I believe it was or is the top selling DVD of all time), so
getting number 2 is still good. :)
Shmoes, for Resident Evil it's it's opening weekend in America only it's
not in Europe yet so 21 million is pretty good having around a 50 million
budget, I've enjoyed the movies I think people are way too hard on them.
I can picture the fight, Laboots and Hardy were arguing.. Hardy got in his
face and was about to punch him, then Laboots screamed "Optimus!!!" and
Optimus knocked Hardy out
The reason why they keep making those horrible Resident Evil movies is
because they make tons of money over seas. So I wish they would just
release them over seas.
Haha, definitely! btw, I'm glad you got a chance to see it, too, Ellis,
especially in theaters! It's a movie that everyone should see!

His plays are a bit formulaic but they are still great, his style in his
plays are wonderful though. His movies, I would say are a lot better than
his plays because he is such a storyteller. In his plays, one is Madea
there is a sidekick always to Madea and then there is a lot of trouble
around that Madea has to wade through and good old solid motherly advice
and wisdom along with the Gospel message always prevails. His movies are
much more to his strength as a storyteller.
How is a movie about married life stereotypical? Oh yeah, let me guess,
judging by your name you must hate men right? Let me telling you something.
Don't be a hater because Tyler Perry is a success. Being a hater is bad for
your health.
How the hell is that wrong? LaToya is attractive, not as attractive as she
use to be but common sense will tell you that they clearly have some
resemblance
