I'm comin over from flight simming & was wondering if my Saitek X-55 Rhino joy stick would work. I could use forward & backwards for throttle, left & right axis for turning. Multiple buttons on the stick for braking & shifting gears.

It should I'm using a 10+ year old Saitek and it worked perfectly until my pc fucked up now the pc wont work.

Good vid. I love that pacific raceway track but don't know how you managed to get that thing round the sharp right left without crashing lol

Thanks, I also like the track, How i could handle that thing without crashing was I used a 10 year old Satek joystick to control it and I practiced alot to keep it from not turning left all the time, it took me a few tries to handle a sprint car in the game but I'm getting the hang of it.

For some reason, the ISI part of the intro plays twice, and it crashes when I try to load a race after I installed this mod. :(

I think it has something to do with RFE. Check the weather setting and make sure it's set to Sunny. I think that's what worked for me. Now I'm onto BoZ 16. Yeah, I've heard of you, BubbaDodge. And the ISI Intro twice is because it has one for the RFE.

To join all the 4GB avi files together I use a free program called VirtualDub.

You don't upload the .vcr file. I use the replay/editor built in to rFactor, but once I've setup all the camera's to what I want I then use FRAPS to actually record it in to .avi format. So set all camera's and then start the replay in full screen mode and record using FRAPS. Once you've done that then just use a video editor to join all the 4GB avi together in to one video and upload that.

yes...the tendency for oval track cars is to turn left when throttle is applied...reason being what is called "stagger" where the right rear tire has a larger circumference than the left rear. When applying power thru the corners the right rear pulls the rear of the racer to the right thus causing the effect. Too much "stagger" will cause the racer to be hard to control in the straights. A general rule is more stagger on small tracks...less on larger.

Too bad they never finished the final version of Kentucky Street Stocks with more car styles. I have the beta version with just the MonteCarlos and its really fun. They are actually funer than the Dirt Works Design Stock Cars in my opinion, but the DWD stocks are fun indeed.

looks to me like the mods hes using is ky street stocks, sbs mods, dirtfactor late models and idk bout the sprints, all the mods ive found for those suck. but i do agree with a few other posters sayin go to dirtworks designs... their mods are all good

find the game at frys.com and the dowloads for theat moldes and modifieds are there to and the sprints are on sprint cars online.com and so are all most all the tracks inclouding this one

I got the sprints cars but i have a problem. when i press the gas it turns to the left without me toughing it. do you know why that is?

I can't even control the sprint car, it like stops when u get off the throttle. Do u know a way how to stop that from happening

@MOOSE272414 Thats because in the sprint car the Right rear is a taller tire causing the car to go left

The modifieds this game uses are called e-mods, they have a longer front end then regulars mods
