HBF did a most terrible injustice to me and my family. I was hit by a car recently as a pedestrian and I rang them to see if they could cover me in any way for surgery although I did not have this level of cover. They sent me a letter and said they would cover me. This letter came from the compensations department and from their Compensation Liaison Officer Cindy Brady. After liaising with Cindy Brady and her wishing me all the best with my operation they have now decided not to cover me and my surgery was pulled 1 week before it is to be done. I am in dreadful pain and on serious painkillers and now I have been screwed over by HBF and their incompetent staff. I have been told I will have to wait at least 2 months in pain for the next surgical opportunity. Do not, under any circumstances, trust this lying misleading organisation. I cannot pick my kids up or work, or even drive and that has now taken a further blow thanks to this disgusting company. I will not rest until I have justice.
