this OLD. '07 body style is the NEW cls550 body style, starting from '12
and newer.....but if you have and older 'cl'......not "cls".....but
"CL"then they look like the Newer('12+) Cls550 models.......Mercedes-Benz
think they're slick......why buy a 2012 and newer,of the Cls550, when you
can buy and old 2007 cl63 or cl Anything......take the 'S' out of the "cls"
and you get a newer looking car from a older model.....
yeah pretty much but i know its gonna be prices but im internet and money
savvy ;] i gotta get new tures water steering pump engine and trannny
mounts recline switch for my passenger side the lcd screen replaced odomter
replaced sunroof and pssibly new leather but i gotta focues in the proiters
liek that water and steering pump and yes driving this car is a pleasure
hope chris has the first gen ls400 to review one day
Well it should be called the two door version of the S-Class, not only does
it carry over the same technology, but it shares the chassis. Word is, with
the introduction of the new 4.7 TT V8 to replace the 550 motor, Merc is
going to rename it the S-Class coupe like the old days and like the E-Class
coupe.
Are you serious? Thats so cool. My parents are both from Bosnia and I was
born in Germany so thats pretty cool. Yeah, mostly everybody will drive a
European car. I have seen so many Mercedes-Benz cars in Bosnia and alot of
Golf II's.
the interiors of the S class and CL make it seem like they dont have that
much tech because of the simple design but damn does it have a lot of tech.
Great review, man. I enjoy watching these videos
nice make sure to get and look for a well cared for ls400 with maintenceae
history becuase i ddint do that since now i have to replace water pump
streering pump but i got it for 2800
My dad traded his 08' Corvette Z06 fully custom back in 08 for this car, he
has the black cl550 amg package, i gotta say i miss the corvette though,
but this is a fun car aswell.
Chris do you do a review of all the cars on your website if so are you
going to do a review on that s class 4 matic and that cls 550. I love ure
vids especially the mercedes ones
Der Krieg hat sie getötet, anstatt neun Kategorien von Kraftfahrzeugen,
Motor-und Motorentechnik, die einem Verbrauch von mehr als 100 Litern pro
100 Kilometer verbraucht.
OMG thanks CHRIS this is my favorite car...I think this car has everything
anyone wants!! is safe, fast, ultra comfortable, handles well, although is
very expensive
Sounds like the money you saved in the original purchase price was made up
for in expenses and repairs. Thanks for the advice. Do you like how your LS
drives?
as originally from Germany, i would like to point out to many "non Germans"
Kompressor, does not stand for "supercharger" i know alot of dealers and
sellers like to use that word as a translator, but a Kompressor isnt a
supercharger lol nor does it mean supercharger lol. It works similar A
Kompressor is steered- mechanically via V-belt and a supercharger is
steered via exhaust fumes, thats the difference.
I stomped out one of these in a race today by 3 car lengths, so I decided
to learn more about my kill. I didn't know much about this car. I am
running a 2013 Stage 1 S4 with 430hp though so its not like my cars stock.
I think I surprised the old man and his wife ; ) I JUMPED out from the
start, and just pulled away at all times up to about 105
I don't know why they even bothered to supercharge the V6 when they could
drop in the 55 V8 Kompressor and thus create a Saturn 5 rocket. They that
anyway in the next generation but no supercharger, and that's a pitty. That
would be a Mercedes style Hot rod with the 55k engine and a 620hp Kleeman
upgrade.
you say that like it's a bad thing. I bought mine with 20k km on the clock
3 years ago and have no regrets. They're even cheaper now, great great
value for the money. Have had to replace the rear end, alternator, and am
having a problem with c-pillar rub, but otherwise, it's rock solid.
@marshyd1589 u may be right with the turbo part, but in german and in
germany the word Kompressor is not a supercharger, nor does it mean
supercharger....maybe in english or here in america its translated as
supercharger because it does the same effect....
OMG FINALY i get an answer to that W/S thing next to the shifter lol. haha
i always thought it was something along the lines of wet/sport or
wide/short shifts. that start in 2nd gear thing is really good to know
My comment before doesn't mean to not buy this car and buy the SL55, I have
been in a ride in both cars many times and i have to say the SLK is really
fast. I would recommend this if you cant afford the SL55.
@muratshawn ............ WHAT?! A supercharger uses exhaust fumes? I have
the feeling that is called a turbo... but maybe thats just an American
thing... Superchargers use the belt here in the states.
@muratshawn Kompressor = Supercharger. Sorry your wrong. These do as they
say - compress air. They are belt and pulley driven. Turbo is driven from
exhaust gas
I have one of these. It is a BLAST on the twisties and the straights. I got
mine 2 years ago with 33k on the clock for just $28K. 349 HP and tons of
torque.
