@1997BNSF It is basically a zone or a stretch of a line where there are workers on the tracks and it is a method that the engineer needs to contact the foreman via radio so the foreman can let their crew know of an approaching train and give the approaching train permission to pass through the work zone.

Excellent video Andrew! 901 is the only F59PHi I've ever seen that has ditchlights that flash at normal speed rather than the slower speed. The combination K5LA/P2 sounds really odd. I wonder why the P2 was never removed once 901 was returned to Sounder?

@GenesisSanctuary I don't know why, but the combined horn is very effective for the Seattle-Tacoma runs since there are much more grade crossing with busier traffic from what I heard. That whats make 901 pretty unique.

@CoasterFan2105 They have. The Track Gang were lined up to go do some tie replacements at MP 20, north of there. And also, the reason for alot of construction is that downtown Edmonds will soon be double track actions.

@GenesisSanctuary Oh and just so you know, most of the F59s that Sounder has is the normal flashing ditch light, which is standard package. There's like at least 2-3 units that have the slower flashing ditch lights.

its odd to see a p32 pull those cars but its even odder for the cabbage not to match also..lol...u got the double rare combo there awesome!!..pure awesome..the 511,512,513,and i think #515 are normally at 30th street..i've seen either the 512 or 513 phase 4 towing a cab car on the harrisburg line early in the morning..it woke me up becuase normally i hear the P42's
