Just curious..i have not taken the Safety course yet..but doesnt it teach u
basics of body postion..countersteering etc? If it does then isnt it a new
riders responsibility to practice those skills regardless of cc of bike?
Anything with a motor is a dick swinging contest. We all know that 90
percent of everything we do is to impress others. Absolutely no one is
impressed with a 250 or even a 600. Roll up on a busa,14r,1299,super duke,
or whatever and everyone is drooling. We all love to ride, no one needs the
power, but everyone loves attention. Doesn't matter what you ride, death is
a twist of the wrist away. Ride safe
I agree with everything you're saying. Only thing about counter steering
though, push right to go right, push left to go left. If someone doesn't
know that then they should never get on the freeway, or any real road, and
really have no right to be on two wheels. When I first threw a leg over a
motorcycle, almost 20 years ago, a lot of my bicycle skill transferred; as
odd as that sounds. So I got acclimated very quickly. Within a week I was
on the freeway.

Cars | Coffee | MotoVloggers Good day Dukes and Duchesses! Today I head over to my favorite Saturday morning spot (Katie's Cars & Coffee), meet a new ...
Don't be hating on the GS500, I just picked one up as my first
bike......its also broken... Haha. I live up in Germantown MD, so not too
far, maybe I will catch you around one day man.
Haha it's a good first bike! Just needs a little TLC. Having a meetup on the 4th of October in Sterling, VA. Stay tuned for a video with the details and hopefully I'll see you there!
+GoProChicken Right on! Yeah, the one we've got here in VA/DC is a blast. I haven't seen a Veyron there yet, but I have seen the beloved F40 mmmmmmmmmmm lol.
I almost bought in S1000r but I just did not get the feeling from it that I
get from my Tuono. I bought my 2015 Tuono in late April I now have 2500
miles on it and cannot stay away from it. I go out to just look at it & end
up having to take it out for a ride it just inspires you.
The only downfall in owning an Aprilia is lack of dealer support. I have a
small issue with my bike at the moment but it is a three hour drive to get
to my dealer.
My brake light flickers on and off with a good rev of the engine. I think
that is what has triggered my service light.
Even so I could have a BMW dealer down the street from me and I still would
choose the Tuono. I have never loved a bike as much as I love this awesome
beast of a motorcycle!
+DukeOfDC I was in the middle of watching your exhaust video. I just found you today Thanks to Vee4. I watched his video earlier and he mentioned you so I figured I better find you and check you out.You seem to have some pretty good videos, and I subbed your channel. I can't wait to get a camera and start making some videos of my own.
+awdeveau You sound just like me when I was weighing the options of whether to buy the Tuono and what the support would be like, or whether to get an S1000R, but we've both (and +VeeFour) made a fantastic choice. I've got just about the same mileage as you do now, and no issues like that yet, however if you watch my stock exhaust video and look at the tachometer when I rev the bike, it starts to read a speed at standstill... Italians and electronics never seem to work out very well, but damn do they make up for it in looks and sound.
My buddies channel is Turdbucket his profile pic is a white shoei helmet
he is the one that actually lives in VA right next to you. He will be
riding in rolling thunder I believe. I will be be out of town with the fam.
So if ya want to ride with him hit up his channel.
Haha! I was getting the same impression after watching your videos. It'll only be temporary I'm afraid, as I am moving a little closer to my office in the next few months. Although, we should totally meet up at the VRE station before a cars and coffee one morning.
