You gave me no facts to prove your claim. All you did is give me examples, half of which are not true, to support your opinion. My point is to prove someone's IQ, you must have results of their IQ tests. You can't just say because they did this or that, then that means their IQs are lower. There are a number of variables that could cause your examples to happen  That's why I said if that's what you base your argument on you must prove a correlation of these so called facts, then causation...  In this instance you can't. Its impossible therefore you would need to show me a study of IQs with a large sample of Filipinos and compare them to another large sample of Chinese or whoever else you are comparing them to. Like I said, I have seen published studies on the IQs of different races that included Asians as a whole but not Filipinos in particular..  So, dude you are full of SH#T!!! just because the word is nowhere on the internet nor written in any book that doesn't mean the word does not exist. people create words on a daily basis and if the internet or book writers can't keep up with time that doesn't make the newly created word inexistent. philippinese is a word and defined as the inhabitants of the Philippines. the word philippinese is the anglicized version of the Spanish word Filipino. Filipino is to Filipinas and philippinese is to Philippines. to contend that Filipino is for Philippines is like saying prench is for people of france or fakistanis for Pakistan.

I agree on your concept of nationality and that should be the main reason why you shouldn't call yourself an American because the word American does not refer to people of a particular nation, instead it's has a broader application, the word American is applied to the people of north, central and south American continents not just to the inhabitants of united states of America and therefore to call yourself American on the basis of nationality is a misapplication of the word. Japanese call themselves Asians not because they are from japan but because japan is part of asia and same rule applies, you don't call yourself american because you are a citizen of united states of America but rather you call yourself an American because you are from north American continent.

I am American...  You just don't put an ese after every country name to describe their people.By the way the term was "las islas Filipinas" and meant "The Philippine Islands".  Hence the Philippines was named in honor of Spain's Philip II. Anglicizing the country name and referring to the people in English only means we may use Filipino while their own people might use Pilipino because of their alphabet. Many Filipinos do use the same term though because English is one of their official languages. I will give you a little tip- If you are unsure a term to describe people of a country is correct or incorrect, plug it into your computer's dictionary and see if the word actually exists. I can assure you there is no Philippinese there. Taiwanese, Japanese, and Chinese on the other hand are.  So, try and read a little more history and learn a bit more about a people before you decide to profess to know them and put them down. Even a Filipino 2nd grader usually knows the history of their country and the terminology to describe it.....

Even the poorest of Filipinos generally speak some English and many who are just high school educated speak fluently.  The country has corruption problems but I wouldn't say the people weren't intelligent. As far as your statement about other Asians disowning them, I have never heard of this and have traveled to several Asian countries including the Philippines..
