while this doesn't exactly apply to bold as love, how are you able to get every bit of jimi's playing? I have a lot of trouble really hearing what he's playing in some of his songs, so I can only wonder whether or not you have access to some isolated guitar tracks or if your ear is just that much superior to mine.

+MrDeepFriedOnion let's face it being a Hendrix fan 30+ years is pretty sick in the head :) theres some isolated tracks available though. check out torrent sites and look for multri tracks from the Playstation GuitarHero games. or whatever theyre called.

on the night dr mlk had been shot & killed hendrix dedicated a song or improvisation to dr mlk & played deep.this gig has been talked about for many years.but no one ever come across a recording of the gig even bootleggers havnt released it.sadly this isnt that gig its the officially unreleased captain coconut avalible on a few private pressed lp,its not from the crash landing lp if memory serves me correctly.although i have it in front of me its not got the track time but i will listen to it again & then the longer version.mate if it was it would of been found by now,but & this is a big butt janie hendrix has blocked loads of recordings from being released.they issue blocking orders & the threat of criminal action then maybe much later on come back offering peanuts.peace

+Sanchez It's just part of a jam that Michael Jeffrey's named Captain Coconut after Jimi died. The MLK jam was a live performance and not recorded.

This is not it, as stated. Supposedly his MLK tribute was at Newark Symphony Hall on Friday April 5th, 1968.
