This camcorder records in MPEG 4 format... which isn't compatible with WMM. Unless you have the version that comes with Vista Premium. To edit the HD files you will need a fairly decent Processor on your computer. My computer is 2 years old, and struggles to edit HD files. So when it comes to buying a HD camcorder and wanting to edit the videos, you also need a decent computer to be able to do it.

I hate this camera, I got it for Christmas and should have returned it right away. It is slow and difficult to operate due to button placement and monitor position. it's not comfortable to hold, it is too small, too light weight and I feel like I am going to break it

How come wen i transfer the vids to my computer and i watch them it looks as if the video was cut in half and theres like a line across the video horizontally.? Its not a black line or even a colored line its just an invisble line. Does that make sense.? :P

Guys I'm thinking buying on of these cameras... But I'd like to know about the sound quality... a friend of mine has a Hitachi HD camera and the sound sounds like crap because of the mic... :P

I think the old-fashioned lens cap is a great idea because it means a threaded UV protection filter (37mm) can be attached to the front of the lens, protecting it from dust and scratches.

most of the time you dont need to replace the batery it runes for a good 2 3 hours befor u need to charge
