VHS not by any means sturdier! It has more moving parts and is more
vulnerable to humidity and heat. Half of my family videos, which have been
sitting in a cool, dry, uninterrupted environment for years have tape rot,
which is unavoidable unless you keep your tapes in the the fridge. DVDs are
fragile but in different ways. They don't survive contact well but they
survive time. VHSes can survive contact a little better, but they all have
an unofficial expiration date.

VHS is the best because there so easy to take care of like for instence all
you do with them is keep them in the case and if it gets damaged you can
splice the tape and with DVDs they get scrached up and they break really
easy.

I agree with you because yes it's true that dvd's are very likely to get
scratched if they are not put back in its cases and set somewhere where
it's very likely for them to get scratched.

No. I don't need glasses. VHS is just fine with proper upscaling. I mean just watch a 240p video from YouTube with a decent upscaling TV. It will look great as long as the bit rate isn't terrible.

i forgot to mention to bro, did you know that ther was a video game system
that would hook up to the vcr and you could put in thos tape that would
play a game, a sensor would attatch to the television and when the moment
came you would shoot your target with a lightgun.... however the main
reason it diddnt make it was due too the sensor being dumb and it only
could tell if u made a shot or not by using the sound from the vcr... so it
was not known at all and was a huge flop. but there was a game

me too man, plus i forgot to add about starwars the old trilogy, george
changed stuff here in there when the dvd release came out, and thats just
bullshit. thats why certain movies are just better in the ol' format

I know, you can say i like disney and i'm dutch, I found a VHS of a rare
version of the dutch Sleeping Beauty which will never release on DVD
because they redubbed it.
