how dangerous would it be to make a torch with that, does the combustion release more energy than H2+O?

+Laharl Krichevskoy It would be extremely dangerous as phosphine gas is super toxic! one good whiff could kill you. Also when it ignites it releases highly reactive phosphorus pentoxide AKA anhydrous phosphoric acid it will react with moisture to become phosphoric acid. btw phosphoric acid is also quite toxic and corrosive. The reaction phosphorus pentoxide has with water is very exothermic producing violent amounts of steam and splashing. tl;dr yes very dangerous

probably pretty dangerous but u can calculate it with the delta h of formation of reactants and products. um i think a torch wouldnt work so well also because u cant turn it off unless u create a valve to stop the flow of gas also you have to use energy to maintain the reaction.
