I remember once being upset with someone who missed an important
appointment with me. The next time I saw him my words and tone let him know
I was upset. He told me a family member had died. I was mortified. Now I
always gently inquire if there was a problem when someone has missed a
deadline. This approach has saved me embarrassment and enhanced trust with
people. My lesson: Be careful what you assume until you know the full
story.
loved it...awesome... we've been cookie thieves in many ways...holding on
opinions, thoughts and thinking them to the supreme truth, only to find
that our perceived reality is far from truth

Cookies huh? Those can be pretty good but really think I gotta start making
doughnuts. Chocolatey... Wafflely doughnuts! Yum Yum :S J/k, but you guys
are always pretty awesome! Sledding hill nearby? Keep dreaming, keep up the
good work and best of luck on your big trip you have planned! I'm sure the
first of many haha! Also keep in mind there's organizations where you can
go on family exchanges to other countries where you swap houses, towns,
jobs etc for a year. As my family did when I was 8 over to England!
Can I possibly use any more exclamation points?!! Those haughty little
declarative vertical dash-dot sentence completionists whose sole intention
it is to synthetically connote an impression that it was really passion and
energy that were fueling the words before it all along? If the words
really held true to that intended emotional model however, then might such
literary devices become redundant whose presence may just serve as a
detractor of impact to the sentence preceding it? In essence then
suggesting the most effective writers should have little use for the
exclamation point period? I suppose then I shall continue to go on using
them fully while striving not to. Although until now I'd never given it
much thought tbh. Sorry if sounded a tad pedantic but it keeps me occupied
on the side 1 tabling a Pot Limit Omaha game to go off on such unrelated
tangents, (I guess normally playing 8-12). Gotta keep that volume up haha.
Hope everyone in the whole family has a great day!! Btw are the kids home
schooled?
+SN011GlobeTrot Thanks! Tell me more about your England adventure, that sounds really interesting. I am guilty of overusing the exclamation mark. Sometimes it feels like the best way to emphasize the happie positive tone I am trying to convey. Yeas our kiddos are home schooled and we love it. If the kiddos ever want to go to public school we will let them but for now they have a blast learning at home. We teach using a method called unschooling. The basic idea is you let the kiddos guide their own learning. We found with our kids, especially Abraham that the more we tried to force them to learn something the more they rebelled. So know we teach them what they want to learn about and sneak things we want them to learn in the process.
