I have the Aqua Start 500 and am trying to remove the lid from the tank but I am afraid that if I force it that I will break something. Is it possible to separate the lid from the tank? Any help would be much appreciated.

+Bridget Hendrick It looks like the sort of fitting which will easily break but as long as it is pushed straight out with a swift motion it should come out no problem. Please note: if it does break it could be down to the tank being old as the plastic will be more brittle with age.

I have an Aquamode 900 & need to change a light bulb as its blown. How on earth do you remove the light?? any help would be appreciated.

It should just have a few screws to remove the clear plastic housing then you can get to the bulb.
