The Pro-Line Pit Mat is nice I have looked at one for myself but what turned me off buying one was the Huge cost of postage to get here in Australia.

+Shayen RC Enthusiast. Yeah, the postage there is crazy! The Pro-Line mat is great, but I have heard/seen guys using thinner Yoga Mats as pit mats......Now they won't have the cool graphics like the PL version, but you might be able to get one locally

couple of things on this. There are actually 3 sizes, micro, mini and jumbo. I have all 3, got one of them for free, because they have great customer service. They couldn't get the mat in the mail within one business day and threw in the micro for free! The micro is deceiving and is probably small enough to transport to the track yet big enough to do the work you need. The jumbo is my home organization mat! Great reveiw. Keep up the good work!

cow rc is really stepping it up. They are sending out mats to be reviewed and they sponsored that rcnews thing. They held a contest for the mats on urc (see if you can do that on your site, it was very popular!). You can even go to cow rc (dot) c0m /cow_rc_new_site_036.htm and get FREE cowrc decals!

If anyone is looking for a carry case for 1 or 2 of these big mats, may I suggest an "art portfolio carrying case". They are meant for carrying painting canvases etc. and come with a built in handle. You won't need anything expensive just a cheapo $10 one will do the trick.
