Mashallah what a great lecture. But only intelligent people will understand that. My education was very tough back home. In mauritius education is very important specially for my family and our teacher is very important. They are like our 2nd parents we respect and scared of them same as we will be with our parent. Am over33 now and every single day when I pray I make duas for each of teacher who made me what I am today a good person. Here in Uk life is too easy children unfortunately dont care.

Getting rid of your tv, reading all salah, and following the q'uran and sunnah to its core teachings is what is needed more. We do not have a tv, have not had one for 3yrs, my son is 1 and a half, and his listening, concentration and active actions are bang on. As parents we need to practice what we preach, make sure the school is good, quide and keep an eye on thr progression. Its down to us as we are their first and continous teacher(s). Alhamduillah

Subhanallah this brother is really motivating. I had a bad education because of the same reasons. I really try hard with my kids I do not want them to make the same mistake as I did. We need to help our youth they are failing in all areas of life. If we as parents do not do anything then no one will. jazakallah really helped.

Muhammad Yunus... won the Nobel Prize 2006. I think he is an inspiration to many people. I particularly like his model of "Social Business". However there are many limitations and downsides to his success. But we need more Muslims to be global names in success from an Islamic point.
