There's a reason you may not know much about how chickens are treated in factory farms - you aren't meant to know. Factory farm operators know that shoppers ...
+Mohammad Ayub The recorder guy is a good guy. He if filming the cruelty so that we can see it. Once we see it and know about it, we can stop the cruelty by eating meat, eggs and milk from cruelty-free farms.
I can't stop crying!!!! This video broke my heart!!! Last week I made a
life change. I will no longer buy store bought eggs. I found an individual
in my small village who has free roaming, beautiful hens and one rooster. I
stopped by his house and explained my desire to only eat eggs from "happy
hens" from now on. He looked at my strangely because he doesn't sell eggs
but after I explained to him my goal he was all in! He brought out 2 dozen
eggs and I bought them from him. I got his number and will now only buy
from him. My ultimate goal in this is to become a vegetarian. Baby steps.
Please pray for me as I love all animals and never want to cause harm to
befall any of them ever again! God bless!
+talksolotI wouldn't push people. It's their decision what they eat and if someone eats free range eggs I think that's more than great. For most people it's also more realistic than being vegan.
+Bonnie Buchanan hey again, have you signed upto Veganuary for this coming January? theres currently 6000 people doing there best to go Vegan for 31 days.. join us :)
+Bonnie Buchanan Just go vegan. You don't need baby steps. It is just food. There are many great vegan foods. Cold turkey is the way. If you can eat animals knowing how detrimental they are to human health and the horrors of what these animals suffer then you are a hands down ADDICT. I beat caffeine and nicotine and can tell you that cold turkey is the only way to beat an addiction.
+Bonnie Buchanan I also only buy and eat eggs from a place where they have free roaming chickens. It's possible to see the hens and roosters any time I want, therefore I can be sure about how healthy and happy they are, and just how naturally they live. They basically roam around the whole day anywhere they want. It's a really a beautiful place. It's similar with fish: I seldolmy eat it, but I know a great place where they farm fish humanely, cure/smoke it and sell it for a fair price. There it's also possible to visit it anytime :)
Thank you for the reference. I have subscribed to his channel so I can watch the video later. I am currently working on a couple things right now. I will let you know in a bit. Again, thank you for your caring, educated and mature reply to my comment. :)
+Kenny Zhang Thanks for making me laugh Kenny. Go troll someone else because after this I will no longer comment on your ignorant and childish remarks. Your opinion matters zero percent to me so move along sweetie...move along. :)
You really need to watch a video on youtube from Gary Yourofsky - The Excuses Speech the guy is a pure genius at explaining where eggs come from. Enjoy

There are first world problems going on right now like war on ISIS, how the
economy is broke, GASOLINE prices for God's sakes! And all you care about
is a damned chicken who has no chance of survival?? PLEASE re-educate
yourself fucking twats!
Never did a commenters name fit more. It IS entirely possible to cate about more than one issue at a time. Animal welfare benefits us all directly or indirectly. The problem with the world are the soulless people who don't care about the suffering of others, be they people or animals. If you can't bring yourself to care about the quality of farming or animal welfare, why tf did you click on the clip?
+Crobular I I applied this "method" of farming fifty years back, with fresh air and light but without the overcrowding and accumulated filth ; my chicken always kept their feathers. It can be done, and the returns are positive at every level.
+Crobular I , it's called economies of scale. Death rates are factored into their profit equations. For example, 45% of all Canadian Dairy Cows die or are culled each and every year.
This is Heart Breaking and anyone who does not care or thinks this is ok
are Not Humane people at all... They get pumped with all kinds of crap on
top of that and eat their own ground up babies in some places.. Remember u
are what u eat. People say Eat meat and be strong like Ox BUT Forget that
these animals eat grass etc.. lol Unless there in places like this and get
crap to eat and then u eat those unhealthy animals.
When you see things like this, doesn't it make you want to have your own
little home farm, where you can raise happy, healthy, and natural chickens?
It doesn't want to make me stop eating meat and eggs like the makers of
these videos want.
+Twin One The protein is only for those that are still growing up? Well, looks like you have the whole bodybuilding industry fooled then, with their whey and muscles and stuff. The fatty oil doesn't feed cancer cells, but the casein can. In reality though, milk is a superfood. And I have no problem owning a happy and healthy family milk cow.
+zapthycat It is true that milk gives very good protein, but only to those that are still growing up. Once you reach adulthood, it is advisable that you do not drink milk, or at least cut down on milk, as the fatty oil from it feeds your cancer cells.
+Johanan Micaiah You DO need to eat meat to be healthy. Have you seen vegans? They are skinny and boney and pathetic looking. Their skin is disgusting, as is their hair. Some meat in your diet is a very good thing.
+zapthycat plants and microbes don't have brains or a nervous system... Animals do, and also the death of plants and microbes for us is necessary to survive... YOU DO NOT NEED TO EAT MEAT TO BE HEALTHY, which makes it unnecessary cruelty
+Johanan Micaiah Everything dies. Right now you are killing billions of microbes in your digestive tract. You eat plants that are dead and dying. What's important is quality of life. I just rescued a calf yesterday that was destined to become veal. But now it gets to grow up in green fields and eat grass and breath clean air. Yes, it will become food for someone or something eventually. But until then, it has a happy life. That's what counts.
+Johanan Micaiah You can survive, but you can survive on mcdonalds too. That doesn't mean you are thriving. Humans need meat to thrive. Superfoods like milk too.
+Amelia Bee you still kill the poor cows for their meat that you don't even need.. The definition of animal abuse is the harming of animals for uses besides self defence or survival
+jason L The thing about little family farms is that there really aren't any closed doors. Wanna see inside my chicken coop? I promise you it's a far better life than wild chickens or factory chickens.
Sure does! I'm lucky to live where I do, because there is a HUGE local farm community. I can easily choose to only buy eggs from farms where they don't shove hens in cages, and only buy beef that's been pasture-raised and grass fed.
You'd think all Australians would have equipment to deal with snakes and
stuff, o the stereotypes :/

I would love to keep in touch with individuals such as yourself that name is Grant
That awkward moment when he says chickens are happy and healthy and he pulls out a hen with no feathers and that's a sign of stress and overall bad health lol
+Elizabeth Blaze about 50,000 a year of so and fuck the doctor shit you do not need to be a doctor to do her job correctly. This is cause this is a PR piece they are using to push their products
It's funny how he claims the hens are happy and goes on about the Quality,
and yet the hen he picked out was missing feathers. That's a sign of
stress.
+My Green Gypsy you are right but if you look throughout human history we have one thing going for us. This is our collective stupidity. Thus far it has never failed us. This is why the industry is so resistant to positive changes
+watchgoose not on my projects this beak trimming is not nessary if you create ample space in and factory farmed housing I can maximize the amount of space for just a little more money I can tripple the space hens use. The fowls are very territorial. If you tripple the space plus sectioning off the areas you end up with very limited stress levels you also introduce the appropriate types of insects in the coop. I know this cause I started raising chickens at the age of 5 at eight I took over the goats. At the age of 9 it was my job to look after the goats chicken and the rabbits and our dogs. I learn quite a lot, reluctantly.Luckily for you all I am gonna change the world of chicken farming for the better
+My Green Gypsy I agree with you Green Gypsy i am trying to figure out to eliminate the pecking 100%. I plan to raise some birds myself just doing my business plan and selecting land and other stuff I am half way to 500,000 target. just today I found that I was accepted for a business grant.
