+TheMajesticPotato uhmm i thought you died where did my replier go?... now thats the new subject here! what im sayin is it took ya a while to continue the conversation maybe you have a Damn good reason ! you were carrying urgent medical supplies to a hospital lol your turn turtle
This is a desert view combination, of a few things that are not cactus plants, including a butterfly and our new kitten. Her name is Fefe and she showed up over ...
+CupcakeBansheeChild Thank You! They are very cute, but look out for those special bites, haha! The widened jaw line is a characteristic of many vipers, due to the strong muscles for moving the fangs around and also the sacs of juicy juice. Wouldn't you like to go snake hunting in the desert hmm? Please let me know if you are finding snakes over there.
Everyone else has already said what I wanted to say--beautiful
icicles--surprise that Arizona could be so cold--beautiful butterfly--cute
snakes--scary rattlesnake!
+featheredfan I did think, as you said, that pretty Fefe looks like our cat, Kitty. We thought Kitty was a girl, for the first six months of his life--that's how come he's called Kitty! :/ The icicles and things in your video look like a blizzard illustration for the "Snow Queen" children's story. I can see why cacti have to be "shrouded" there--making things look like a ghostly cemetery! lol You certainly seem to understand the logic behind all the camera optics and everything. One problem is that the viewfinder is still a bit to small to see whether it's all completely in focus--especially if one is outdoors in the glare, and in a hurry. I should, yes, actually read the instructions and, also, take my time and do things more relaxedly. How did nature photographers capture so much great footage in the past--when film was so expensive? The zebra "just happened" to fall into the crocodile's mouth? The cobra "just happened" to catch a mouse? Two queen bees "just happened" to have a fight? When I was a kid, I noticed so many of those nature shots seemed set up and contrived. At least your rattlesnake scene was genuine--not like in the cowboy movies!
+zuditaka That's OK, because it's easier to read your shorter comments, haha! Plus, now I know that you have seen Fefe, the sweetheart kitten and BTW; I have begun to document her purr phenomenon, up close. That's a very hairy subject and I will have to save some of the fun for another video. Did you notice the video glitches? That Diamondback actually seems to scare the camera! This is a strange effect and it adds to our discussion about focusing and stabilizing. Look at the interference on the head, when I zoom in to near the maximum. Something different is going on there, because the ant more obviously blurs out of focus, due to the shortening of the distance, near the max zoom. Thanks for slithering! FYI - I'm now preparing Snakeless Fang, for the next yummy ending!
Wow that ice is really incredible! I had no idea it could get to be like
that where you are in the desert! Very cool to see the patterns the ice
makes as it freezes over the bushes and fences! I hope all the cactuses are
faring well through the cold! Very beautiful snakes at the end too! Thanks
for sharing! :)
+Dan Kennedy Yes, the temperature still drops down every night, but most of this season has been mild or warm. Phew, I just checked on a few sensitive plants and they don't have any new damage on them! OK, enjoy the snakes, because they may be missing from the next few videos. Thanks for the great comments!
WOW! That is an AMAZING Winter Wonderland there, those icicles are so
incredible, its so bizarre for me to see ice in the Desert haha! I never
even knew that you got ice like that in the Desert LOL! the ice looks like
the most beautiful decorative glass beading you could buy and all made by
Mother Nature herself :-) Beautiful butterfly :-) and Fefe is an adorable
Kitty, and wow such beautiful snakes too, and a wacky long legged Ant :-) I
loved the way the flies were all mist like almost like fairies flying about
and the cacti have their Ghost cloaks on haha! very mystical looking,
awesome vid from start to finish, Thanks for sharing the amazingness Bob
and have a FANTASTIC afternoon ahead XXXXX
+heartfullofhappiness That's right, this is not a normal thing to see here. The temperatures were cold enough for just a few weeks and the skies were mostly clear or slightly overcast, during that whole time. The butterfly is the same as the caterpillars, from the LPFF video. I will put a link in for that. Fefe is our Fero-surprise prize from heaven and we love having her here! The Fairy-flies yes indeed and I caught them, dancing in the warmth of the afternoon sunshine. The frost cloth is still up right now, but not for long; as the heat is on and the plants are already growing. I'm trying to shorten the videos and yet, this snake footage is quite long. I'm planning to do something different for the ending of the next few videos, but there may still be fangs, haha! Thanks for the great comments and have a SUPER-FANTASTIC day!
