+Nicholas Powell While that may be true to an extent it's by design because of the world one piece is set in. Still past that the pool of actors for dubs is quite small by comparison not to mention just the differences in culture that limit what gets a translation due to if it will make up for the cost.

+Dead Panther Eh, the only voice that is kinda bad is Luffy himself. But, for the most part, the dub ain't bad. I think it's really just a matter of what you're used to. The sub is way too over-the-top for my taste.

Have you heard what they did with the dub of luffy's voice? Babies cry, mirrors shatter and black boards scratch themselves.The Japanese voice acting is almost always better because they naturally have actors for it where here the pool of talent isn't readily available. There are plenty of shitty shows and cartoons in English because of the actors but of the good anime dubs they tend to be the same group of people for that same reason. Look back to Trigun for example, none of the actors work on dubs anymore for the most part.
