I noticed you mentioned you were a heavy drinker. I've been battling
alcoholism for a solid 20 years. Not really a daily drinker.. but a vicious
binge drinker. Looking to turn things around. Just hoping I haven't done
major damage, and that my body can heal. Wish I never took a drink in my
life.

+Ramzi Doughan Thank you for taking the time to respond brother. My binges would be any day of the week. So bad it usually takes me two days to recover. Started drinking when I was 12. My father was alcoholic and extremely abusive. I think I drank as a form of self medicating. That self "medicating" turned to self destruction over the years though. I currently have a batch of b+ shrooms in progress... so I'm hoping they can help. I won't give up the fight. Thanks again
+jposco I was a vicious binge drinker in college until i started using mushrooms. I cannot relate to your lengthy struggle, but I can offer some solace; the liver is one of the organs in the body that can heal very rapidly. Some studies suggest that after 7 years every cell in your body is renewed (saturn quarter turn) , and livers can grow an entire half if donated. The healing can't happen though if every weekend it has to deal with a new struggle. My advice; think about when you took that first drink and why; for me, it was esteem; social acceptance and trying to have sex. are these relevant?second; how do you feel during and after the binges? I recall feeling violently ill every single weekend. At the time, this was not enough for me to quit, i still had friends to impress. If these are the kind of friends you have, i recommend you ditch them. I've been happier, healthier, and more in sync with my spirituality. lastly, if you have not tried psilocybin mushrooms, i highly recommend it along with deep introspective meditation. SEEING HOW i was injuring myself and WHY was pivotal in recovery. Perhaps find something else to do on the weekend like a hobby, exercise, basically anything else to spend your time and money on. for me, things that have fairly immediate payouts are nice like arts and crafts or cooking.I also wish i never took a drink in my life. vile (yet socially and legally protected and encouraged) substance. if you do not drink every day, you have a big chance to get out of this loop and i wish you the best in your journey. peace be with you.
