It should not hurt the battery at all. Once it's fully charged the logic board cuts power to the battery. I do it all the time with my iPhone and haven't had a problem and I've had it for almost 3 years.

In a Forbes article is said the qnovo technology just regulated the charging current to prolong battery life to make it last like 900 cycles instead of 200-300. Don't know if it has any more good things or now.

As far as I know, Sony is using Qnovo battery technology with their phones which is proven to be better than Li-ion batteries. I don't have enough information about that though

Aside from the 4K technology on the display, Sony is considered to be the brightest display in a smartphone, meaning it also has the brightest display in this test so that is one of the reason why it lasted shortly. If it has at least 4,000 mAh battery inside of it, it might last as long as with the S7 if not last longer

Like he said the Z5 premium has a 4K display which means it has to handle way more pixels than the the other phones. I was still surprised it only lasted 4 hours. Hopefully with Sony's next 4K phone they put a massive battery in.

+drsnowmon nooo it does not lag what are you talking about i always use my brothers phone. i switched phones with him for a full 2 weeks the battery is good camera is good speakers are good software is good the only problem is the size. the 2nd last update i did on my iphone bricked my phone(another update fixed it tho).....if  you wanna talk about glitches.. plus theres always some way you can glitch an iphone. did you watch everythingapplepros video where you can access photos and contacts on the lock screen or freeze your phone.....way worse than a rotating glitch. im not hating i love my phone but if there was one phone i would trade it for it would be the 6p. battery is better screen is a looot better plus its android you can get any app or game for free including show box which i used to use religiously. on the iphone you have to wait for ajailbreak and void your warrenty if you want moviebox.

your ignorant lol i would get the 6p in a heart beat over the 6s. aplple is all about the money and limitations. the only reason i have a iphone right now is because of jailbreaking and facetime.

+drsnowmon every single problem gets fixed just as fast as iphones do because of the immidiate updates. i mean its not like the iphone 9.1 update (i think, im not sure which one) bricks your freaking phone......how would i know, cause it happened to me. still prefer iphone but the 6p is nice as hell
