well that's another thing, what if you get into a fatal accident, and one of these chicks gets' killed? it's over for you...the family of that girl sues you and takes your house, and everything attached to it, inside and out....you wouldn't be allowed to even live in what's left of that car...people don't sue for 100dreds of thousands today, they sue for 100dreds of millions!either way, it's not right to pick up minors for obvious reasons and/or the legal nightmare following an accident of any kind is not something I would've risked...who the hell needs that kind of drama, it's one thing cruisin' with family, and completely different with strangers...you'd be living outta some refrigerator box next to the train station when you get sued straight back to the Jurassic period

The 12-year-old didn't have a choice.  Her mom gave her a week to "move out."  She said she could no longer afford to take care of her.  She stayed with her older sister (my friend) as long as she could, but since my friend was living on "Section 8" (Welfare) she couldn't have permanent Boarders.  I don't know what growing up in NYC was like as I've been in Minnesota all my life, but a buddy of mine ran away to California TWICE when he was 16, back in 1974.  At one point he ran completely out of money, so he walked into an LA police station and said, "Look, I'm a runaway and I haven't any money."  He told me the cop looked up from his desk and said, "Well then you'd better wire home for some money because it'll be a lot cheaper than if we send you home!"  By buddy thanked him for the advice and walked out.  It was quite a "free society" back then compared to now.  The only 12-year-olds ever in my car were siblings of friends of mine.  We considered girls 14 and under too young to hang with, but those of us who had pick-up trucks would occasionally stop at the "Wall" and fill our back end up with them.  I remember one time I had 16 people riding around in the back of my box from the Wall and I have no idea their ages or anything else about them.  They were hootin' and hollering at all the people walking along, and waving at the other cars and even the cops.  Back then riding in the back of a pickup was still legal as there were no seat belt laws in place yet.  Another dumb thing to do I guess, cause I remember one guy who had his box filled allowed them to drink while back there and one of the girls was sitting up on his tailgate when he gunned the gas and she fell out and got hit by the car following behind.  She didn't die, but it was an awful legal mess.

that's were 'common sense' kicks in, a 12yr old girl can't fake 'not acting' like a 12yr old....even if she's trying to 'act' older, and lots of young girls that age are master manipulators/liars, more mature than boys the same age... I'm from New York City, you think I haven't seen my share of that? since middle school even...that's why older guys, with any sense that is cruisin' round in cars say 'NO' for them, if they want to hop in...who the hell wants any kind of trouble should they say, the dude tried to 'kidnap' them or 'rape' them etc... people can be liars beyond the pale of reason...hence is life...when I was 18 the only girls cruisin' in my car were 16 plus....and I was smart enough to know not to get myself into some kind of stupid situations with anyone younger....that's life in the BIG CITY....we know better...

I'm not rationalizing it, and it wouldn't happen these days; but back then it was a different world.  Most girls lied UP about their ages for the sole purpose of snagging an older guy.  It gave them status, he had money, and believe me, they were not sweet innocent things.  Many were runaways and bounced from place to place.  I personally knew one girl (a friend's little sister) who at 12-years-old obtained a fake ID, that said she was 16.  She used it to get live-in nanny jobs with single-parent dads.  She targeted single parent dads because they didn't ask as many questions about who she was.  She would stay at the job as long as she was respected, but as soon as the guy came home drunk and made a move on her, she'd leave, and find a new nanny job.  She survived on the streets this way for two years, and finally at 14, she used her fake ID (which now said she was 18) to get a job at 7-11.  She worked there for two years before becoming the store manager, her real age was 16, but everyone believed she was 21.  She was living in her own apartment and supporting herself by this time.  She later used her job references to get a top management position at K-Mart and ran her own store!  All this before she was really 21.  She never got into drugs, never was raped, never prostituted, and never was arrested by the cops.  Have you ever seen the movie: American Graffiti?  It's set in 1962, so it's a bit before my time, but the portrayal of what cruising was like and picking up girls is the same.//www.imdb.com/title/tt0069704/

heh who' said anything about 'junior high girls slutting 'round'.... point is: they should not be cruising around in ANYONE's car, even if it's just riding around, period. at that age, they have no business getting into ADULT driven cars, with strangers they DON'T have the common sense to know NOT TO BE AROUND...simple as that...I'm here in New York City, land of the liberal loons, wacko's etc...and you go on the street here and ask parents what would happen to some douchebag pickin' up their naive daughters to 'innocently' ride around in cars at night...guess what the answer's gonna be...now if it's a 'daddy' issue with these girls and their desperate for any 'older mans' attention since there's no 'dad' at home, they're are 'ripe for the pickin' ain't they? ez to take advantage of...and it doesn't have to be dad with the shotgun....I know what mothers' of daughters WITHOUT husbands/fathers are capable of if you go near their kid... they themselves, alone are a force to be reckoned with...hell I'd be scared to just show up on the porch if mom wasn't around expecting me to be there alone with her kid....bottom line: what's appropriate is obvious, you can rationalize it all you want man....

As I stated before, none of the minor girls had any dads in the home.  As for dating in my age range, I had nothing in common with them.  They all wanted to drink, slut around, dance, smoke dope, and otherwise run wild.  I did none of those things.  There were plenty of dads around who protected their daughters with shot-guns back in my day too, but those dad's could be "negotiated with" if things got sticky, unlike the laws today where you just simply go to prison, then get registered and tracked for the rest of your life.Also, have you watched any of the other videos on my page about Cruising Hopkins?  There are a total of four.  Perhaps if you watched them, you might understand what was going on better.  The Jr. High girls getting picked up at the wall were only hoping to go riding around in Hopkins.  Cruising Main Street.  They weren't looking to hop in the sack with the guys, they just wanted to be part of the action.  Those of us that picked them up, just took them riding up and down Main Street.  We were never alone with them in private or anything.  We all had CB Radios in our cars and were usually in constant contact with each other at all times.  We even let the girls talk on our radios to the other Cruisers.  If minors were getting raped, it wasn't by us or any in our group of Cruisers.  The incidents I mentioned were mostly exceptions like the mom and her daughter sharing the same guy.  Those of us who did have minor girl-friends, we always treated them with respect, NEVER got any of them pregnant, and had their mom's permission to date them.  We obeyed the rules mom laid down, and got them home by curfew.  We also had to become mom's "slave" at times to keep dating her daughter.  This meant mowing lawns, making minor repairs around the house, and kissing butt.  We may not have been able to convince a stern dad like you, to let us date your daughter, but you probably would have not worried much about us if you knew who we were back then.  The whole culture was different, and guys I knew did have more respect, in general, for girls back then then they do today.  The evil thing that was going on back then was every girl we met had been molested by someone at some point while growing up.  Dad's, brothers, uncles, cousins, teachers, neighbors, and occasionally date rape (by guys their own age).  This is what made us appealing.  We were looking for long term commitment type relationships and the college girls wanted nothing to do with that.  We didn't want older women, so that just left the 16-18-year-olds where we could convince mom we were "safe."Oh, and that is my wife driving my Grand National.  The "Vulnerable Adult" I told you I married.  When I made the video it was supposed to be about Cruising Hopkins, not street racing.  I uploaded it to YouTube to document Hopkins, MN, and the fact I had made the video while in my Grand National, was simply incidental.

Who decides what is wrong?  You?  After puberty age is just a number.  Mary, the mother of Jesus, was just 15, when God impregnated her.  So does that mean you think God is a pedophile?  Regardless of the age of consent "bangin' a female is wrong at any age outside of marriage.  The "little woman" to take care of a man goes back to the first book in the Bible, Genesis 2:18, where she is created as a Help Mate for the man.  That is her purpose, not going out and getting a career and being self-centered and using men like pets for sex.  When I was 26, I had a 16-year-old girlfriend, I had been her friend for a year before that.  I was "Grooming" her to be my wife, but I wasn't "bangin'" her.  Our relationship was built on love and respect.  It almost worked, but after she turned 18, her mom decided she didn't want her daughter marrying me because she felt I wasn't "well-groomed" enough.  When her daughter refused to break it off with me, she kicked her out of the house.  She tried to move in with me, but I still lived at home and my parents wouldn't allow it; so she joined the Nanny Pool and moved, of all places, to NYC, to be a live-in Nanny.  That was the end of our relationship, and it took me eight years to find another girl.  By this time the sex laws had changed, so I wasn't able to "Groom" a minor anymore as it became a crime, so I did the next best thing, I targeted "Vulnerable Adult Women," the ones who are over 18, but have the minds of 13 or 14-year olds.  My now wife was 19 then and I was 34.  We are still happily married and have two wonderful children.  Doesn't sound very wrong to me.

It wasn't creepy back then.  Most of these girls didn't have a dad in the home, they were all single parent moms.  I knew one 15-year-old girl in Hopkins who would share boyfriends with her mom who picked them up in the bar and bring them home.  After mom was done with them, they have their way with her daughter.  It's just the way things were back then in the 1980's.  Even the high school used to let all us 20-something guys visit during lunch and "bang" our 16 or17-year old girl-friends up against the lockers in a secluded hallway.  Hopkins high school even had a Student Smoking Lounge where all the kids could smoke cigarettes!  The reason we have the sex laws we do today is thanks to us back in the 1970's and 1980's. :)

+BlacKnightRising Today it would be, but back then no one said anything unless you tried to rape them or something. I got pulled over by the cops a few times with girls as young as 14 in my car. The cops just wanted to make sure the "minors" were with someone over 18, otherwise it was a Curfew Violation.
