As they say "You Da Man"! Thanks for posting this! Before finding it, I
changed the (non battery) side without taking the housing out, and writhed
and twisted to get the bulb in place. Several hours later the bulb was not
seated in the socket and pointed down slightly. Yesterday the battery side
went out and this video was a total help. I even corrected the other side.
Its people like you who make life better! Thank you:-)
well after reading the comments on this video i feel much less mechanicaly
challenged .i dont want to tell you how long i was out there after reading
the owners manual and damn near causing a divorce because of all the
screaming . but thanks a million now i dont have to bow down to the
mechanics shop and tell them i could nt do it great video
All headlamp bulbs change basically the same way, he is showing you how to
remove the headlamp fixture on this model particularly so it is easier to
access the bulb location. I doubt the headlamp fixture in the reno has the
same mounting points for bolts. The engine is exactly the same though.
Thanks ^ 5.. missed location of Nut .but found it's location in
reassembly.. save me the sore fingers from doing it on car much faster
off..10mm deep socket is a must along with a stubby driver..Great video
except jump in nuts location to start..But u show it in reinstall..
Thanks much! I had no idea I'd find a video when I googled the lamp
replacement. I was able to replace it without taking out the console but
only because I knew where to reach the spring lock. thank you so much!
When the video jumped to the one nut inside there it threw me off a little,
but once I found it, yeah....this made it sooooo much easier than trying to
feel your way around inside the light fixture. THANKS! :)
Like the other comments, you save me much time and money. Trying to change
w/o taking off the headlight was my method, and that didn't work. Thanks
for posting. Also, this works for the 2006 model as well.
yea the manual for this car is EXTREMELY unhelpful with that diagram..it
doesn;t tell you about 2 screws underneath the headlamp assembly that you
NEED to take out..or at least what i found
Thanks for the tip about 10mm deep socket. This 3rd nut is located right
behind the marker light, parallel to the ground. Just wanna add, the clip
can be taken off by loosening the nut.
Thanks for helping me find the infamous nut discussed in the owners manual
and isn't readily apparent when undoing the headlight assembly. REALLY
helpful and much appreciated!!!
Thank you much for posting this... I Googled for some tips on general
headlamp replacement, and I get a video walkthrough on my actual car! I
humbly bow to your good samaritanship.
Hey thanks man! Thank god you made this video, now i feel really confident
in going to buy some bulbs and changing them myself instead of the dealer
or someone else. Good job.
thank you very much for this video! I wasted over an hour trying to change
that stupid bulb. after watching this video, It took me about 10 minutes!
lol! thank you, again.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaa Dude! ! You just save me from goin to dealer! ! !! Damn! i
spent like 1 hour 30 mins to put new bulb, and couldnt ! ! REEAAAALLY
HELPFUL! ! !
Ok, after watching this, there is NO WAY I'm paying 80 bucks for this
procedure. Going to buy a bulb right now.
