@mattc1683 This is laughable. My B-King is not DE_TUNED as you call it. You
should read all the comments before guessing what I have at the wheel. And
as I've said before, there is no way a stock R1 will pull pass me in a drag
race. I fully understand that this rider as liitle skill but again he was
running his mouth how fast he is. So I think I made my point. Just FYI I
ran a 10.32 at 137mph after stalling at the line. Look up R1's running the
1/4 mile and compair. I could shave 3 tenths of it.

@mattc1683 I agree the R1 has the aerodynamic advantage. I have never said
otherwise. Read the other posts. These are my numbers and yes I have the
slips to back them. 191 RWHP 62F Temp, Lake George NY Aug 2009 at the
Americade. You sound like you have an idea about HP to weight ratios or you
can google, either way. I also have extensive weight reduction on my bike.
37lbs of exhaust alone. It's all good that you want to pump the R1 up. I
just don't have enough intress to argue or list my mods.
@mattbowen61990 Granted that rider didn't have a clue how to launch. But he
was the one bumping his gums on how his R1 was the fastest bike around. As
far as the R1 or Busa beating me, in stock form there is no chance. I raced
a modded R1 here in Germany down the autobahn and he was fast as hell but
he couldn't pull away from me. Modded Busa will be a good race but he will
win on top end because i have no fairrings to hide behind. I will say this,
you all will see my Dyno sheet in the spring!
@mattc1683 I have no idea about it since there is no drag strips where I
live and my skills as a rider are poor. But I think, from what I had
experienced, that b-king seems to be more powerfull to me - maybe it's from
the wind buffed on the rider's chest... XD I have one question, on the
Suzuki site, the technical database states that B-king has 188 hp. So where
are those 160ish numbers came from? It is a difference between the
technical data provided with the documentation vs the real fact?
@reeseman420 10.32 is ok at best, when my r1 was stock i tokk it to the
track for some before and after times. Before all the mods when it was a
stock 2006 R1 I was pulling 10.02 pretty consistantly with an ocasional
10.08 to 10.1 or so when I spun or pulled up the front tire on takeoff. now
with verry little mods I am in the mid to high 9's.B king compared to a
busa is whats laughable. You with most likely a few mods 10.32, stock busa
capable of a high 9. your slow for a 1300 even a 1000.
@mattbowen61990 Ok then, I'll be more to the point here. A stock R1 (any
year) or stock Busa K9 thru K11 will not beat my bike (a very modded B-King
K8) from 0-100MPH, 20-100MPH, 30-100MPH, you get the idea. I have run a
stock 08 Busa (I think he may have had Yosh Pipes) in VA (Newport News, you
know who you are from Mc D's on Mercury Blvd) from 60-160MPH. After hitting
160MPH, I look back and he was about 5 bikes back. He was about 260lbs so
weight really wasn't his advantage. I'm 173lbs.

fight to maintain the positon starts, not to mention the pressure on the
neck muscles (damn, It can hurt so much).

@reeseman420 Not trying to pump up the R1 at all, In a top speed run if
both were unrestricted the bking would take the R1 apart. I love both bikes
and I love the busa sitting in my yard more than my R1. My busa is my
everyday bike, the R1 is my drag bike. I know alot more than most of the
morons who talk shit on here about bikes. I am an mmi graduate and am a
mechanic at firebird raceway during events. I know bikes and I know the R1
smashes the bking in the 1/4 but not top end.
Nothing unusuall about the vid beside these comic-like bubbles which made
me laugh. there is no way that a 1litre bike with less HP and lower Torque
could do anything to B-King in 0-260km/h array. Im talking here about the
stock bikes, with no mods at all. B-King has restricted v-max to 250km/h,
so it's obvious that R1 would gain it with higher speed. But as far as
power, torque and accelration is concerned... 1litre stock sport has no
room against this suzuki muscle bike.
@Mephistocbrxx11 The BMW produces 193bhp and 112Nm of torque at 13,000rpm
and 9,750rpm respectively, and the 14,200rpm redline is very high for a
litre-bike engine, and from 193hp 170-175 is on rear weel npt 183!!!! The
B-King is limited to 184 hp and 146 torq but unlimited have 197 hp and 156
torq stock like hayabusa because is a hayabusa engine and at 300km/h b-king
produces 210 hp thanks to ram air sistem .So the power is allmost the same
but torq differences are big

that's acceleration, racing is about top end and as you suggested the R1 is
peaky meaning TOP END, depends which R1 regardless which r1 it is the bike
is 20 light years beyond your skill levels and you will never fkin ride it

There are only a handful of bikes on the road with this much power and
brutal torque that doesn't seem to have an end to it. The sound you hear is
nothing like actually being on the bike at theses speeds. I have
yoshimura's on mine and it gets a wee bit loud. Plus the force and noise
from the wind is significant. Not my idea of a fun time when riding in
Canada on Canadian highways (which can be shitty) at times.

How much wind are you catching when riding this? does it try to blow you
off the seat, or is there enough hardware in front of you to deflect a lot
of it?
+T noiset It wasn't that bad as far as I remember but the owner did have an aftermarket screen if he ever needed it and for how much they are, they are worth picking up.
