Why would those in the liberty movement support Trump? Don't they realize Trump has used his power as a businessman in the past to pressure local governments to use eminent domain to force people out of their homes to make way for one of Trump's business ventures? Now imagine what Trump might do if he were given the power of the presidency? Everyone says it is so fortunate that he is not obligated to anyone. Has it occurred to anyone that maybe Trump's lack of obligations and commitments just means he would be more free and unfettered to unleash a tyranny that would suit his whims, fancies and enormous ego? It is true that there were some Africans who were forced or were paid to trade or capture slaves to meet the demand for slaves in the new world. But the basis for your argument and many other white peers is that they make the claim Africans sold their own in order to belittle the evil that was done by Whites. We are talking about over 200 years of degradation and psychological damage. Its important to recognize you are not to blame for this, but this history must be accepted for what it is.

Slavery really did have shit to help build the economy and make America a prosperous nation to attract white immigrants in Europe to come to America even after slavery ended.Otherwise those whiteimmigrants would have stayed in Europe or went somewhere else. White people who didn't own slaves also had the luxury of "white only"segregation.It's white people that keep bringing up slavery,not blacks.I don't know any black people thatbring up slavery or segregation I just see whites doing it.

It was fairly common for Africans to keep other Africans (as in prisoners of war) as slaves, but this was nothing like the slavery that took place in the US, Caribbean, West Indies, South America. Slavery in Africa was more of an indentured servitude with a beginning and an end. Many slaves ended up marrying into the families they served. What’s important to note here is that slaves maintained their humanity and were not “born into” slavery. The child of a slave was born free.

The reason why whites get blamed for slavery and segregation is because while "blacks sold slaves" it was WHITES that wanted cheap labor that they didn't have to pay so they could make as much money as possible.It wasn't blacks who shipped the victims across the ocean and put them to work on plantations,it was whites. It was whites who carried other whites across the ocean and did the same with them first and when they didn't treat their fellow whites right they went to Africa.

Slavery has been a part of life for thousands of years even before whites enslaved Africans. In Jesus' time there were slave and Mohammed sold people into slavery as well. Slavery was also in the philippines when the Spanish took over the Philippines. Slavery has been around for a very long time. That doesn't make it right, but it takes time for people to realize what they are doing is wrong. It took more than 2000 years for slavery to end on the planet.

Even in the bible they talk about slaves and how to treat them. The Romans enslaved people from other countries they took over. They bought and sold slaves and the slaves didn't have rights and didn't eat with their owners or vote etc. Slavery is not a new thing. It is so angering to Africans because they are from a country where rights and freedoms are idealized. Why are we so focused on this when slavery has been around for a long time?

There is a big difference between kidnapping someone and enslaving someone.The handful of countries that whites met and hired kidnapped the victims...using guns that whites gave them.The longest time that the victims spent with the countries that kidnapped them was at most a few months and that time was spent walking to the coast.It WAS whites who forced them onto plantations and worked them.Big difference.
