i tried flying in JAL twice the entertainment system was good but one thing i didnt like about JAL is their food some of them is still raw hey! i am not japanese! hhe

13 days to go and I will be flying with JAL from Heathrow to Osaka. I so cant wait as I have heared so much excellent feedback for JAL.

You won't be able to go on a JAL 747 in 2012 because JAL Retired all 747-400's in 2011

wow...KLASSE Video mit toller Musik! Da hat Boeing mit dem Dreamliner mal so richtig einen rausgehauen :-) Dieser Flug war schon im Sommer 2013? Bin mit LAN Chile in 9/2014 mit der B787-8 geflogen (MAD-FRA), einfach nur super!

Which "short-hop" routes? VA mostly flies trans-continental routes. And as for LA-SF, Amtrak takes a night to cross that distance while an airplane takes less than 1/4 of that. But Amtrak isn't worth it. It's not like in China where given the choice between a 3-hour flight and a 20-hour train ride is a reasonable one due to the train costing US$120 round-trip compared to the air ticket costing 3x as much and the train station being downtown while the airport is in the middle of nowhere.

Japan`s size just containing main 4 isles are equal as california, and if it includes okinawa archipalago area, japan contains length of entire US Eastern cost. and its domestic market is second largest in the world after yankee doodle`s land

The length of Japanese land is about 1500Km. So needs domestic air route. Japanese's Fastist train speed is only 270km/h. And Japan has many islands.
