+Scott Hohl though ill admit, its hard for me to comment, not growing up during the first generation of practitioners and so these original videos youre talking about, Im still going to have a go. That old style of documenting training (at least from Parkour Generations) I could imagine is reserved for classes more or less with chainstore.Furthermore that style may work fantastically for people who are new to parkour (who were in their many back then, showing the need for those videos) but theres nothing more motivating to an experienced Traceur than a display of interesting and unique movement, often captured on these "Highlight reels". Maybe to someone who lacks the self motivation to train (not saying you do) these types of videos may not have the effect of motivation. To someone with the experience and eye to see these moves and say "Hey that looks fun, I could try that and/or develop on it", these types of films are nothing but motivating.Nothing here I said was to cause offense, feel free to point out if I did and I will immediately apologise but I felt the need to defend these styles of videos
